I wouldn't say Haley and Peyton because even though Peyton was part of the popular group she wasn't into all that popular/cheerleader stuff and her and Haley got along well really fast.Also music and Lucas were big factors of their friendship. Brooke and Haley were total opposites in my opinion when it came to season 1. But I was most surprised with the Brachel friendship. They were pretty much enemies and then they gradually became friends..it was surprising but I am happy they became friends but I do like them when they're arguing cause they're fights are good drama...:)

B/C it was the most unexpected? Maybe? I simply adore Brachel. Well...not more than Braley but i do love the very very much!

^yea good explanation. brachel and baley forsure. but i think baley is kina the definition of unlikley friendship. they were complete opposite, had nothing in common, and came from completley different worlds, but despite all of that they somehow miraculously became the best of friends lol. with brachel sure they were total enemies but thats cuz theyre personalities clashed, they were similar in a lot of ways and i figured they would eventually become friends. but yea both friendships did surprise me and they both are my fave oth friendships <3

i really didn`t think they would ever connect, but they did A LOT<3
& brachel was surprising too, didn`t think they would ever stop being petty but they DID (well kinda)!
paley didn`t surprise me after the road trip thing, it did surprise me how they drifted apart so much though.

Brooke has the best friendships on the show!! She has different friendships with all of them, and they're all AMAZING. But I love the Braley friendship most. They're always there for each other like true friends and they've went through alot together!

Brachel are like twins so it wasn't a surprise at all. I knew that if Rachel moves on to find another guy to flirt with (Lucas to Cooper), they'd stop jumping at each other's throats. However, I didn't expect Braley to go from "Answer the question, Brooke" to Haley wanting Brooke to get hit by a bus to Brooke asking Haley if she wants to be roommates to Brooke being the maid of honor at the Naley wedding to making people think that Brooke is pregnant to Brooke being chosen as Jamie's godmother..
