hmmm hard question abby...because i believe she's definitely being brave but i don't know if i'd completely agree with the selfless part. i think she's being both selfless and selfish at the same time...when it comes to the baby she's being selfless but when it came to luke's opinion on what was going on i think she was being selfish about it. she hid the fact that there was anything wrong until she couldn't anymore and then when he did find out she completely dismissed everything he sad, like his opinion didn't matter. now believe me i can understand where she's coming from and even though it is ultimately her decision what she does even though luke's the father. and i know luke really didn't want to abort the pregnancy but i don't know i just can't totally agree that's she's being selfless in her decision.

and i guess you would call me a peyton inbetweener(lol this sounds funny) cuz i don't hate her but i don't always love her either...so i guess i'd say i like her.

I think Peyton dismissed Lucas at first, but when they got into the baby room and had it out some more, Peyton really heard Lucas' desperation, broke down, and admitted she was scared. We need to remember that Peyton did think about the "alternative" or she would have said she's keeping the baby right from the get go (right after seeing the doc). But they got home, cried a little, and sat in silence until Peyton came to a decision. When Luke said he couldn't live a life without her, she truly saw what she was doing to him, so she used the only card she had left - Hope. She tried to plant some faith in Lucas to carry him through. I love her brute confidence. Despite the odds she's going by faith with this fatal pregnancy. She's being so strong for all 3 of them. She won't dare show Lucas how scared she is - she chooses to believe everything will be ok, but is still brave enough to prepare for the worst. I just can't get over how amazing she's being, lol.

well peyton's always a fighter, so I came to expect her to be brave, and I think it's amazing how brave she is being, it's hard to imagine having to do that.

im not much of a peyton fan but i do give her major props for standing up for her child. its most def a noble thing to do, but it also goes with those motherly instincts. any mother would sacrifice their life for their childs. well almost any mother lol.

I think this is the bravest I have seen her be this whole show!! I mostly think it is because of Ellie and the bravery she had throughout her cancer and everything. I think Peyton learned so much from her and realizes that this is the time to use that bravery.

You all know I'm not a Leyton fan or at least I think you guys do but anyway I never saw Peyton as a motherly person not even with Jenny but this season she has been so maternal towards her unborn baby and it brings out a whole other side of Peyton which is sweet but I still miss spunky P.Sawyer!!!

I'm a Brucas fan,and I can say what she's doing for the baby is SO SWEET!!!And yes,I know about Luke's opinion and all,but she is being so brave and she's going to even RISK HER LIFE for the baby.I mean,she could die from child birth!Yet,she still wants to have the baby no matter what!And I think that is just so nice and mother-like of Peyton! :)

I might be biased because I love Peyton with all my heart but I think she done many selfless acts during the series.
1. Willing to risk her life & die for her baby
2. Organising a concert to collect money for breast cancer research [S3]
3. She was willing to sacrifice her happiness & let go of Lucas to see him happy [S5]
4. She sacrificed her feelings for Lucas twice for Brooke's sake [S1 & S4]
