when did Lucas fell in amor with peyton?

i don't get it!!!
i mean, allegedly he was in amor with brooke in seasons 2 and 3, so he fell in amor with peyton in season 4? when? o was it in season 1?
in season 6 he dicho he had always loved peyton...

he has loved her since season 1 and i know he dated brooke in season 2 and 3 but he has always loved peyton even when he was engaged to lindsey. like he dicho he has loved peyton from the first time he ever saw her. i amor leyton so much :)
