Back in August, the majority of the One Direction fandom were forced to call in sick due to crippled fingers, after racking up a totally insane 94 million votes for the boys in the battle to be crowned MTV Hottest Summer Superstar 2015.

If you wanna get all precise about it, then it was actually 94, 291, 338 votes which saw 1D winning the title for the third year in a row, and just when you were starting to think that your withered hands were all for nothing, the lads have finally been presented with their super shiny trophy.

If you accidentally slept through the entire summer, then we\'ll fill you in. One Direction beat off stiff competition from huge global artists including 5SOS, Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato for the MTV award, and were chuffed as four little cheesecakes to win it yet again.

Fast forward to this week and the boys have finally been given the award to stick on the mantelpiece next to their school photos, and by the looks of it, they\'re VERY excited about life.

Louis\' doing the classic \'smile and point\' thing that all boys do in photos, Niall looks as though he\'s very happy but also hungry, Liam was quite frankly delighted to have it in his giant hands, and Harry seemed to be so overjoyed that he actually transformed into a small, hibernating woodland creature.
