Once Upon a Time‘s Snow Is Haunted By a Past Evil — Fall TV First Look
Nemo is described as a zealous believer in a cause, which takes him from ~69,047 miles under the sea to a destiny that he won’t let anyone prevent him from achieving. His mythology will merge with that of Storybrooke’s own captain, Hook.
Season 6 premieres Sunday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c on ABC; Tahir appears in Episode 6.

as a graduate student and campus Lothario who crosses paths with Dominic West’s Noah, per Deadline.

* NBC has given a a put pilot commitment to a legal drama procedural based on former O.J. Simpson prosecutor Marcia Clark’s novel
, Deadline reports. The potential series centers around a relentless criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles whose world is turned upside down when she is hired to defend a police detective in a high-profile homicide.
Faran Tahir was seen in Season Four of 24 where he got his butt kicked by Jack Bauer.
Ha, I never thought about the fact that, if you actually went 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, you’d come out on the other side of the planet and then keep going (about a quarter of the way to the moon). Yay, math!
Though maybe the oceans are much deeper in whichever fantasy realm Nemo comes from…
The title refers to 3 circumnavigations of the earth, not diving to that distance. Like 3 miles on a bike means riding a bike for 3 miles, not literally 3 miles on top of the bike.
Yes, that makes much more sense, now that you mention it. Jules Verne would obviously have known the dimensions of the Earth when he wrote the book.
A “league” is a (relatively) horizontal distance. A “fathom” is measure of depth.
That’s the factoid I was overlooking. When you measure distance in meters or miles, it doesn’t matter which way you’re traveling, but in this case, it does.
It’s funny, I didn’t know Faran Tahir’s name, but if you’d told me OUAT was casting Captain Nemo, I would have pictured his face as being perfect for the role.
OAUT season 6 is starting to sound like the league of extaordinary gentlemen all they need now is Tom sawyer, Dorien Gray, alan quatermaine and nina harker and the invisable man
Faran Tahir went from being the ill-fated captain of the USS Kelvin in the Star Trek reboot to being Captain Nemo!
Almost forgot – he’s got some Disney-Marvel synergy as well; he was the head of the Five Rings in Iron Man!
He was so cool in the few minutes of film he had that I wanted to see him in charge of the USS Kelvin in a movie of his own.
