Here’s Your First Look at Once Upon a Time’s New Gaston!

Though Gaston (originally portrayed by Sage Brocklebank) made an appearance during the first season of

, the showrunners are finally bringing him back, and we’re excited. This time around,

’s Wes Brown has been cast in the role. He doesn’t quite have a swell cleft in his chin like Gaston, but we’re still pretty pumped about the choice.

As expected, this means we’ll be learning more about Belle’s life pre-Rumple. According to reports around the Web, the brawny villain will show up towards the end of the season, so it looks like we’ll have to wait to see how the writers have decided to work him in. With the show on hiatus until Sunday, March 6, we have a ton of time to speculate.
