She is strong-willed, independent and smart. As we saw in Child of the Moon she is selfless: when she thought she would hurt más people she was willing to get killed. For some reason she is loyal to Snow and clearly a great friend. She has her funny moments and can make jokes about being a wolf. As people have seen villains have tragic backstories and I do feel sorry for them, but Ruby also had a tragic backstory and she is still a pure hearted girl. When the town was going crazy because David forgot about them, she kept them all calm and stood up to Regina. In 2x09 she was going to attempt to stop oro and Regina at the portal on her own, which is quite brave. She ALWAYS takes Henry for people who only go to her when they need something, and manages to keep him safe.
