No offense, but what is up with the spot icon?!

I remember ages hace that we had a pick to choose the new spot icon, and then the chosen icono only stayed around for a while and then someone (the spot creator?) changed it without asking the whole spot. And now it has changed again, without any one asking the rest of the spot what they think.

Could we please at least be asked before the icono is changed? I think most of us would prefer to have a vote, rather than one person changing it all the time without asking other fans what they think.
