Recently, I had lost the X-Factor. The bitter-sweet memory was clear in my mind. My friend, Shelby Young, had won first place. I was the runner-up. There was so much talk of how I deserved to win, it began to overwhelm me. I stuck por Shelby no matter what anyone said. She was my best friend. Practically like a sister to me. Since she won first place, she had gotten a record deal. But me, I had to go over to Simon Cowell's house to see if I could make it in the big world too.
"Jazmine, have tu practiced the song I assigned you?" Simon asked me, sitting down on a pool chair. I nodded. Oh My Goodness por Olly Murs. A great song. Quite possibley my favorite. "Can tu sing it for me?" he continued. "Yeah, sure." I say, catching a mic as his assistant tosses one to me.
"Oh my goodness. I can't hide it. tu just smiled when tu walked por me. Ohh... my goodness." I began singing, quite comfortable with this song. A loud laugh suddenly distracts me for a second, causing my voice to crack. Simon cocks his head. "And I don't know. If I can stop now. I'm going too fast, corazón first, my head just can't slow me down." The voices were getting louder. Ugh, that's rude! I'm trying to perform here, I thought irritated.
Suddenly, five boys crashed into the pool area just as I started the bridge. "First sight I believed in first sight. No segundo thoughts in my mind, just felt right. Oh my goodness, oh oh." I locked eyes with a blonde boy with blue eyes. Wait...that's.., I suddenly realize. Niall Horan! Oh my gosh, One Direction is standing behind Simon.
I finish out the song and they applaud. "You sing like an angel." comentó Harry Styles. "Thanks..." I say. "Yes! Quite the angelic voice." agrees Louis Tomlinson. I blush. I'm not use to all this attention. "Well? What do tu two think?" Niall asks Liam Payne and Zayn Malik. "Amazing." they say in unison. Simon nodded. "By the way Jazmine, I need tu to go inside so I can talk to the boys." I mentally scoffed and said, "Okay." I went inside the house and sat down.
I looked out the window though. I noticed Niall was blushing and Zayn was poking him playfully. Simon handed Louis a paper and he looked at it. He pointed to something and all the boys nodded. Simon dicho something and then Niall started walking towards the door I had gone in. I fell back on the couch. I don't want to know, I thought.
"Hey Jazmine?" dicho that Irish accent. I looked at him lazily. "Yeah?" He smiled. "We have a little bit of a surprise for you." I sat up and tilted my head. "That would be what?" I asked. "You're coming on tour with us!" screeched a voice from behind me. I flew off the sofá and grabbed Niall's wrist. Louis had popped up and screamed that. Niall chuckled and said, "You're going to have to get use to that." I looked at him, and then quickly let go of his wrist.
"I'm going on tour with you?" I repeated in shock. "Yeah." Niall dicho smiling. The other boys scurried in and Simon followed. "You're ready to sing in front of people, Jazmine. You're talented and beautiful. These people are going to welcome you. And One Direction," He paused, placing a hand on Louis and Zayn's shoulders. "Is going to help tu get started."
I look at them in surprise. "Oh my gosh!" I exclaim. "Thank tu so much!" I quickly hug everyone. "This means the world to me!" Louis quickly sets his face to stone. "Don't let us down." he says, mimicking Katy Perry with Niall. I laughed. "Oh I won't!" Louis smiled and so did Niall. "I don't think you're letting lover boy down." I tilt my head at Harry's comment. Zayn laughs and Liam goes, "Oh hahaha!" Niall blushes again. I shrug it off.
"I've got to call my gram." I say, quickly escaping the awkward moment. I pulled out my phone and dialed her number. This is the best thing that ever happened to me... I'm going to be famous! I looked over my shoulder at Niall. And maybe have a famous boyfriend too...
