This is my first ever fic on Naley, o Nathan and Haley from One árbol Hill, I was watching 7X16 when Lydia comes to town to tell her daughters she has cancer, and the way Nathan was there for Haley shows me how much they are meant to be together, so I am doing a fic on it, let me know what tu think, I own nothing…

I sat in the living room on my own, Quinn and Mom had gone out, Mom had taken her to a comprar she had bought for Quinn so that she could display her photos, Taylor had gone, she was struggling, but to just leave was weak, she should have stayed here, with us, so we could try and come to terms with the fact that we were going to lose our Mom together…
I heard the front door click open and Jamie and Nathan walk through the door…
‘’Mom’’ I heard Jamie shout
‘’Hey baby’’ I said, picking him us as he ran towards me
‘’Guess what I want to be when I grow up?’’ Jamie asked
The tears started to sting my eyes, Mom should be here to see her grandson graduate, go to prom, she should be here to see me and Nathan have another child…
‘’I don’t know, what?’’ I asked my seven año old son
‘’A baloncesto player/director’’ Jamie replied
‘’Very cool’’ I said, putting him down ‘’now, it’s getting late, go and get your pyjamas on and Dad will come and tuck tu in’’
‘’Aren’t tu going to come up?’’ Jamie asked
‘’I’m spending some time with my Mum tonight Jamie, I’ll come and see tu when I come to cama though’’ I promised
‘’Okay, night Mama’’ Jamie said, shooting off up the stairs
When Jamie had disappeared from sight…
‘’What’s going on?’’ Nathan asked
‘’What do tu mean, what’s going on?’’ I asked
‘’There’s something wrong with you, don’t act like there isn’t, I know tu Haley James’’ Nathan replied
It was true, Nathan knew me, he was my forever and always…
‘’It’s Mom’’ I said, one single tear fell down my cheek
‘’Your Mom, what about her?’’ Nathan asked
‘’She came to tell us she’s…’’ I said, I couldn’t finish my sentence, the tears started to fall and I couldn’t stop them
‘’She’s what Hales?’’ Nathan asked
‘’She’s dying, she’s got cancer’’ I dicho between sobs
Nathan didn’t’ say a word, he just pulled me into his embrace and hugged me, there was nothing he could do, he just had to be there for me, he just had to hold me, like he did when my Dad died a few years previous, when my sobbing had eventually subsided Nathan went to tuck Jamie in and I went outside, wrapping a blanket around my arms as I went…
I stood, staring into space, not even realising that my beloved husband was behind me until he spoke…
‘’How tu doing?’’ he asked solemnly
I stayed silent for a minute, not wanting to speak, Nathan put his hands on my shoulders and rubbed my cold arms up and down, the warmth of his hands spreading through my body…
‘’Taylor’s gone, she left, my Mum says I’m my sister’s keeper, I couldn’t make her stay’’ I said, my voice starting to break ‘’I’m not the glue, my Mum is’’ my voice continuing to break ‘’when she’s gone, everything is going to fall apart’’ I finished, the tears started to fall again…
‘’Hey, come here’’ Nathan said, pulling me, like inside, into his soft, warm and seguro embrace
I sobbed… ‘’I’m scared’’
Nathan couldn’t’ say anything, he just held me, stroked my hair and rubbed my back, when my tears had subsided once again I looked up at him, my eyes puffy and red from crying and kissed him, softly and gently…
‘’Thank you’’ I murmured against his lips
