Yeah...If I am curious about one, but I dont want to buy it. I only buy the ones I like, which is alot. But still adds up fast. I have too many movies...like 300 and some DVD's and 15 blu-rays. I just got a blu-ray player last year. I like it. I actually still have a few VHS lingering.
I usually just wind up buying it. If I rent something, and like it then I will have to spend even more money buying it later. That's just a waste. Plus, if it has somebody I really love in it I will always always buy it.
Not from an actual rental place - there aren't any around here anymore. The library has quite a few, I get stuff from them pretty often. Guess that's more 'borrowing' than 'renting'. =P
I'm actually gonna start this week, so technically it's 'no' so far, but I'll just have to change my vote anyway so lol. I know it's gonna be annoying if you really love the film, so you end up spending more money later on, but that's the same with seeing films at the cinema really (which is considerably more expensive, what with the popcorn etc!!) and I just have a bunch of DVDs in my collection that I don't even like and it's just a waste.
I used to rent movies all the time but now I mostly just watch them online and then if I really like a movie I'll buy it, or if it's something that I really want I'll just go right out and buy it.
ALTHOUGH I have been known to go to redbox a few times so I felt like picking no would've been lying & I don't like liars. =)
