First,this is all opinion based,and if tu happened to like o amor any of the cine here,I just want to say that I'm sorry if I hurt you,after all,nothing is without it's haters.
Second,I'm going to include cine on the lista that I personally don't enjoy o think they're being over-praised.
Alright so without any further ado,let's do this:
5.The Lion King (1994).
Now first of all,I don't hate this movie,I really don't.I just dislike it on the grounds that nearly every compliment that it gets is an exaggeration of the actual good qualities of the film.The Lion King is por no means a bad movie,I just don't think it's very good.
The story fails to be relatable because the characters aren't believable o sympathetic.The characters are only the most basic archetypes,the amor interest and the moral center,the foppish villain,the celebrity comic relief.Nala seems to have little to no character besides telling Simba and Scar off.Mufasa is just a cool father with no faults to make him believable,plus I never cried at his death scene.Scar has no traits besides general laziness and foppishness.Simba seems to have little to traits other then what the plot requires,which gives him más depth than the others,but still no much.We don't know about his hobbies,his habits nor how he vistas the world in a complex way.And the rest of the characters are just comic relief.Timon and Pumba,just like the deplorable gargoyles from The Hunchback of Notre Dame,are simply put in to entertain the younger crowd while the adults are interested in the real plot.This wouldn't be that much of a problem if the jokes were funny,But.They.Just.Aren't.Heck,I actually think they're much funnier in their mostrar than they are in the movie.
It also doesn't really work as a musical,and I would pregunta the choice to make it one.Of all the songs in the movie only "Be Prepared" really holds up.The rest,not quite so much.I amor the beginning of "Circle of Life" but from that on it's not very good,"Just can't wait to be King" has annoying singing,"Can tu feel the amor tonight" sounds awkward and "Hakuna Matata" is kind of annoying.In my opinion, Beauty and the Beast,The Hunchback of Notre Dame and yes,even Frozen,are better.
Now there are things I like about it,for instance the animations is amazing,it has a breath-taking size,Hans Zimmer's score has an African feel to it and thus works with the movie good,and I do really like "Be Prepared".But there not enough to save the movie.

4.Avatar (2009).
Again,I don't hate this movie,only dislike it.There are things I like about it.I like the scenery,it's a very nice scenery,now if tu look at Sci-Fi illustrations it's nothing new but it's nice to see it on the big screen.I did like the 3D,it was pretty cool,but again,How to Train Your Dragon came out one año later,and to me ,it was the best looking 3D movie,I've seen.It's a shame that when I was a boy,my father brought me to see avatar instead of How To Train Your Dragon.
Now what I really hate is the story.Even the people who like this movie say the story is not that good,and I understand Guilty Pleasures(I even made a lista of them).But,the technology I didn't see it anything that spectacular.Sometimes I was convinced that it was really there,but most of the time,I thought that I was looking at computers,computer images,very nice looking but,they mover like computers,the textures looks like computers.It's still computers.There's so much computers that I thought I was looking at a video game.I never felt that I could reach out and touch these people,only once o twice,and to be fair they're giant,blue,cat,monkey people.How are going to make that look real?So granted it's a challenge,trying to make that character come alive,I guess it looked good,but for everyone building it up like that,I thought it wasn't really worth it.
But I think the number one thing that annoys me the most about this movie,is that we've heared this story so many times before,Pocahontas,Ferngully,Dances with Wolves,it was old when those cine did it.And to have now,NOW,this movie coming out,and it becomes the highest grossing movie of all time
,that is telling these studios"We want más of these stories.We want to hear this story again and again".I can't believe that!
I think we know this story and even people who watch it admits that the story is not very good,and I think,by making it the highest grossing animated movie,is basically saying,"We want más of this story.This is what's new to us".And that's what gets to me that if there's going to be avatar stories being made,it's probably the same story over and over.Now I don't ind stories about prejudice,or the big man using his power on the smaller man,it's going to "Why?Why are they like that?"."We know the story.Don't judge!".Got it!We heared this story since kinder-garden.Unless you're going to give us something new,if you're going to replace the native Americans with giant,blue,cat,monkey people,it's not very interesting.
3.Moulin Rouge (2001).
God,I hate this movie!This is one of those films that they feel they trying to say something important,brand new and innovative,but the story has been told many times before.This is one of those cine that,the message is"Follow your heart,be in love"and things like that and por putting in all these effects and big musical numbers and recycling songs that have been heared many times before,sung badly por the way,is somehow going to make this somehow new.And it's NOT!
I want to like this movie because I like the idea behind this style,I amor sets,when I first saw the vista previa to this movie,I thought I was going to amor it,I thought this is going to awesome,like a live-action música video with this really good story because this director,couldn't have put all this money and this artistic expression into a bullshit(sorry for that) version of Titanic.
And that's what he did,it's Titanic,even titanic at least had something better to offer because it had the ship sinking,it had a little bit of history,even if it was flawed.
This,now this is just me personally,even por that time musicales weren't around,even now they're pretty rare,and this movie was the first movie musical that had a lot of money behind it.This movie is like"Wow,they really spent a lot of money,but no original songs",I mean there were one o two,but most of them were rehashed songs and I've gotten better to accept that this was the style the movie was going for,is to mostrar the whole wide world the música in in this one movie.I do understand that,I don't think it works effectively,and for that to be the first musical to come out in years,and to have no original songs at all,that really got under my skin.And to have a lot of the sung,and done really badly.
What really annoys me the most in it that it's the titanic story,again,the basic villain,with just no motivation but to just be an ass,and getting what he wants because he's used to getting what he wants.The boring young artist who was never in amor but wants to learn about amor and explore it.The woman who wants to be an actress and takes the roll.Boring!This movie has no originality What.So.Ever.
2.Gravity(2013)
tu know,people usually say that frozen is the most overrated movie of 2013,but I disagree.Gravity is the true definition of overrated.I can sum up this movie with just one word.BORING!
This has got to be one of the most boring cine I've seen for awhile.This movie is like a filler scene from 2001:A el espacio Odyssey,only extended for an hora and a half.
I don't have anything más to say,to me,it's just and overrated boring mess.
What can tu say but "Tell me how,I am Defying Gravity?"
1.Signs (2002)
It seems like everyone is picking on poor Shyamalan these days.Many people say that this is the last decent movie he made before he started making crap.But tu don't know any better,you don't.This IS his first movie that was crap.
Yes I know this movie was a big hit when it first came out.Yes,I know that critics really seem to praise it.Yes I know that the magazines were calling Shyamalan the siguiente Spielberg.Yes,the siguiente Spielberg,try to figure that one out.And I know that many people still really enjoy this film.But like I said,you don't know any better.It's not well written,it's not well acted,it's not well directed,it's not...well.
Also,this movie has the one of the stupidest aliens I've ever seen.So these aliens want to invade earth,but there greatest weakness is water.Yes,it's like acid to them,one drop hurts them like crazy.Well that wouldn't be much of a problem if they didn't want to invade a planet that's MOSTLY COVERED IN WATER.And they can't even get thought wooden doors.Good God we were afraid of these things.
Yeah sure,invade a planet naked that's occasionally acid from the sky,and where the northern areas are completely covered in frozen versions of the substance in winter.About as brilliant as a human trying to have sex with a car battery.
I'm sorry but this movie is horrible.I never got why so many people liked it.It's overly-dramatic,annoyingly slow,has a real ego when it comes to its own style,and of course any sense of logic is totally ignored,there's millions of other twist he could've done this movie.
So there tu have it,the parte superior, arriba 5 cine that I dislike/hate but others love.Again,you don't have to agree with me.I just want tu guys to respect my opinion. and understand where I came from.
