does anyone else get really bothered when cine switch the races of characters that are obviously supposed to be something else? (like a character based on an anime mostrar whose obviously asian being played por someone white)

my brother says that i'm just being really anal but sometimes when cine switch races it really bugs me. he's super hyped about the prince of persia movie coming out and was saying stuff like, "gylenhal looks just like him," and "it looks so tight!" and i agree with him, but i think that it would look better if they got a realy asian o middle eastern guy to play his part. my brother also points out that i only get mad when its people playing the part of asian characters, but i just feel like if someones name is ang it just makes common sense to find an asian kid to play him.

i feel like i'm ranting a bit so i guess what i want to know is if there is anybody else that feels like this. i'm perfectly fine with switching up races, but if cine are going to do it they should make sure they do it with characters that have racially ambiguous name.(but i also feel that there need to be más asian actors and actrices in hollywood, i dont' care if tu have to start taking actors from other countries. i'd amor to see Donnie Yen and Jamie Foxx in the same movie, o Andy On in some kickass action film, and i will definitely amor to see Rain in another American film)
