Microsoft XBox 360 Pregunta

So what was Microsoft thinking when inventing the Red Ring of Death?

I didn't get it once, luckily. But I heard it is pretty frustrating when tu do get it. Why did Microsoft do something like this?

Technically, Microsoft didn't INVENT the Red Ring of Death, per say. No, instead, the RRoD is a technical problem in which the Xbox 360 console overheats and the GPU is damaged. The exact same thing happened with the original Xbox back in 01, so pretty much everyone knew this was going to happen with the 360. I didn't get it either and I've owned mine for about más than a year.

think, why would a company invent a flaw. the rrod is a overheating of the gpu in the hardrive, not the 360

i think they would want to do that because if tu did get the ring of death they would want tu to go back and say what happened to my 360 can tu fix it and they say no your 360 died tu have to buy a new one.
