If Michael were still alive today, do tu think the 'This Is It' movie would still exist?

This is it was just a collection of Michafls rehearsals so it would've been filmed no matter what.It was so Michael could look back and see any flaws in the production.As for it being shown in public I think NO.Michael was a perfectionist and wouldn't have wanted the world to see anything but a 100% + performance.So my answer is NO.What we see as a perfect performance Michael did not.He was his own biggest critic.

Of corse it would it would just be a whole lot different though if he was still alive.

I think it would exist, but it would probably be concierto movie with just a little bit of mostrando the rehearsals.. Just watching it and can't believe it was 4 years hace that Michael's gone.. :'(

The "This Is It" movie, as we know it, wouldn't have existed, but I'm sure they would've released a TII concierto movie / dvd, maybe with "behind the scenes" extra material in addition to the concert.

I think it would have come out anyway after the 50 concerts that Michael had planned already was over.....
If Michael were still alive ,instead of the film i would have gone to any one of that concerts and seen Michael live on stage and would have been very much happy to see that he is alive....Nothing else matters....

No, the movie we have seen, the movie we know wouldn't have existed. Michael was too perfectionist, he didn't wanted Bad Tour Wembley released because the image wasn't perfect.. I don't think he would have wanted the rehearsals of TII released. Like others said, maybe it would have been released some scenes from the rehearsals only if the shows would have been released on dvd... but not the movie we know.

I always wonder how it would have been, I'm sure he would have made it in his magical way.

there was impersonators there at his this is it rehearsals so i'm sure that Michael got an impersonator to fake his death for him

Yes if Michael lived his This is it concierto would had been amazing and magical!!!

Well…Michael would've released the This Is It concierto which would've been amazing to see! I doubt he would approve of the rehearsals in the movie since they're not to Michael's standards. However, I think he would release those rehearsals as a bonus for people that are interested in seeing them. So it would exist but not with all the rehearsals if Michael Jackson was still alive. I miss him very much ;((
