Why does Michael Jackson wear tape on his fingers?

one time i heard michael say that it is because it creates a mystery to the public but he has nothing wrong with his fingers.

I think that was to cover the vitiligo
and then he wanted to use because was his own style :)

i think it was either to cover his viltigo o cover his burns from the pepsi accident....then he wore it 4 his fashion like the guante o the hat!!!!! and cos he is sexy!!!

I really don't think it was to cover his viligligo(idk how to spell it lol) anyways mabye it was cuz of that but I heard one time mj dicho that he wore them cuz wen he dances he wanted the light to reflect on the tape so people can also focus on his hand movements lol that's y he wore the shiny socks too lol
