Would tu consider Three Days Grace a metal band?

Yes!!! Three Days Grace is mainly an Alternative Metal band and yes Alternative Metal is a genre of metal no matter what anyone says. Three Days Grace also does hard rock and post-grunge occasionally but their still mainly Alternative Metal. No they are not pop rock and not all metal bands scream. That is just a metal stereotype. Heavy Metal has many different genres and movements. Each genre of metal has different chracteristics. Ex. Metallic (Thrash Metal), Cannibal Corpse (Death Metal), Black Sabbath (Traditional Metal), Faith No más (Funk Metal), and lista goes on and on. This is coming from a real Metalhead and a die hard Three Days Grace fan. Sorry for the long message but I had to my point across.

slipknot and disturbed are heavy metal bands por hearing the screaming in their songs, three days grace doesnt have that.

Alternative metal, yes. I would class inicial as Heavy Metal because it has a lot of screaming and is pretty rough. Apart from that, no, they are hard rock/alternative metal

I would say Hard Rock is their main genre with a couple Alternative Metal songs/influences.

Not heavy metal, but still metal.
