Now that my rage blackout at his disrespect of the club has somewhat cooled, I can say this:

Hernandez is still new to United. Yes, he's had amazing goals and he does justify the praise. But it's still his first season. Who's to say his form will stay the same after Christmas? Berbatov finally does seem to also step up to plate, as does Nani.

Rooney might be needed. But so far, we've been doing ok without him.

Of course, let's hope that he spoke to SAF about this 'ankle injury' because who knows? He might come out to the press later on and say that he isn't injured. Again.

Maybe he is injured, maybe he isn't. Maybe some time out will be good for the guy. He can get some perspective! I'm sure he'll be back soon, until then hopefully Hernandez can sustain his form while Rooney's out.
