mooshka picked option for meeeee because i can't choose:
-Literally no character on OTH went through as much as shit as Peyton did and as an added bonus she went through most of her tragedies at the age of 16/17 (which lbr makes it all 10x worse) but she literally fought through each thing and came out so much stronger <33

-Tbh, there were times on OTH where the characters seriously fucked up but never owned up to it (+the fandom & the characters on the show never called them out on it) and that’s why I absolutely ADORED Peyton’s character. She knew she wasn’t perfect, she knew she fucked up at times, and she knew she did stupid shit at times, but she 100% owned up to it and tried to make things right.

-I mean the epic DYKE t-shirt scene should be explanation enough lol. But Peyton never backed down from something she believed in, even if it meant getting backlash and hate from other people. If something felt right she did it not giving two fucks about consequences.

-I loved how Peyton never did anything without reason or just like that. Everything she did was with a purpose and with the intent to make a difference. She wanted to change lives and make an impact on the world (and it makes me so happy that she ended up doing that <3)

-If you think Peyton Sawyer’s a bad friend take several seats back, please. Yeah she fucked up with the whole triangle situation but she 100% owned up to it (and not to mention the other two were not without fault either) despite that Peyton has ALWAYS been there for her friends with whatever they needed, giving them advice, and just being there for them in general. All of the OTH characters have done some serious fuck ups in the friend department so it honestly irritates me that Peyton gets the most beef. *rant over* lol

-Okay, I guess this goes with the above ^ lol. But we’ve seen Peyton literally make sacrifices for the people she loves and if that doesn’t tell you what an amazing person she is then idk…

-My girl lets no one walk over her and I love it. I just love how Peyton has a response to everything. Like yah she’s a bitch, but she’s a bitch to defend herself and the people she loves.

-I just think it is so inspirational and amazing to think that this closed off girl who never let anyone in was able to find a guy that understood her so well and loved her more than anything and just wow. Like think about it.

-I have never ever seen a tv character be passionate about something as much as Peyton Elizabeth Sawyer is passionate about her art and her music.

-Contrary to popular belief, Peyton wasn’t a pessimist. She actually had a lot of positive thoughts/outlooks on life, but she was just realistic. She knew when things wouldn’t work out and even if she got swept up into something unrealistic she would snap back to reality.

-Peyton was true to herself and was always herself. Even though she had some negative thoughts and feelings about herself I think out of all the OTH characters she was probably the most secure with herself and I loved that about her.

-Peyton ALWAYS had a purpose. Even if she was doing the smallest and simplest thing she always had a goal or an endgame in mind and I think that’s a truly amazing way to go through life.

-This is more so as the show went on, but Peyton realized that bad shit happens and that sucks but that doesn’t erase all the good things. You should still appreciate all your good memories and moments even if they were later ruined by something and like just bless.

-Once again I think this was more so as the show went on, but Peyton always seemed to find hope in things. Situations were fucked up but she still managed to somehow find a glimmer of hope <3

-Peyton knew she was fucked up, she knew she was messed, she knew there were a lot of things wrong about her but she never hid any of that or tried to plaster it with some fake sunshiney personality. She owned who she was.

-BONUS: okay I am 100% convinced Peyton was bisexual. Just the whole situation with Anna, her always finding girls hot/complimenting them on their body, + the mysterious diary page about her and Brooke. (btw, I’m 100% convinced Brooke was bisexual too just because her character openly admitted to wanting to date a girl + said mysterious diary page) I feel like with both Brooke and Peyton, Mark kept dropping subtle hints but never had the guts to actually go there with either character.

Baby<3333
Seriously why do you analyze everything??

Also I don't think B & P were bi, they had experiences with girls just like a lot of girls at this age but that doesn't mean they could actually be/sleep with a girl, that's bisexual. Maybe bi-curious :p

I think Peyton might have been bisexual <33
But I agree with Nic about Brooke, bi-curious only :)

marakii picked She was passionate about her beliefs:
I consider Peyton one of the most inspiring -if not the most inspiring- and whole characters to ever exist in tv!
Inspiration is so important to me, I think it's everything, how a person or a thing or whatever can inspire you and change you in the best way possible.

I'm always drawn by people's good beliefs and how they fight for them, like the people who don't care about money or don't want to reach the top with the help of others by following the easy way but the people who fight for themselves and become great on their own and Peyton is a fighter! Not only does she fight the actual battles but she also fights for all the things she believes in and about all the things she's passionate about! That's why the reason about ''her being passionate with art and music'' is close second to me because just <3333333 I can't really form it in words how much this character mean to me! For the shake of making a top 3 I'd say ''she wanted to make a difference in the world'' tied with her ''being realistic about life''. But literally all, this character is one of my biggest inspirations in life<3
