If I could play any part, regardless of gender, I would play Jean Valjean. Not because he's the main character (well, not ONLY), but because he has such a fascinating story that arcs throughout the play, and is the spine (so to speak) of the play.

HOWEVER, I did get to understudy Mmme Thenardier in my HS version of the show, and standing in for the character was MAD fun. I'd love to be cast as her for real.

definitely eponine. my favorite song of the whole play is a little fall of rain. besides, she is such an amazing character. my next pick would be fantine:) I just saw the play today (i'd seen it before...) and it WAS AMAZING. I cried at the end.. :')

Though since I don't belong to the male persuasion, that would be odd.... (High pitched singing of "Stars")So if I were going for female, I would probably pick Fantine (but she's not as cool as Javvy)

Even though "On My Own" is my favorite song in all of Les Mis, Fantine is my favorite character. I can only hope my high school picks Les Mis for the spring musical. And then I can also only hope I can play Fantine.

I just played Eponine in a production and it was a highlight of my life. She's such a fun character :)

I've always believed when I listen to her songs and have seen her on stage that I want to be her, I'd hate to be her in real life but just on stage would be great especially to sing 'A Little Fall Of Rain' and 'On My Own' 2 of the 4 best songs in the show!!!

Her or Fantine

I'd want to do Eponine or Fantine because of their epic songs, but dressing up as not only a dude but an awesome dude would make people laugh (including myself)!

She had like the coolest woman part in the entire play.

It is my dream role if I could be anything in the world, but I'd also love to play Fantine or Cosette.
