HELP IM STUCK ON ETERNAL NIGHT! AND I REALLY NEED HELP HERE!

Anyone who has completed the eternal night, tu know that part in the celestial caves and tu go into a part that has for portals - 1 for each element, i don't know what those little araña things that keep scuttling about the place are, and I don't know what to do, I have been stuck on this bit since August, and I am fed up with this now, any help guys?

I don't know if this is the same for the version tu have (I have the Wii version) but I think after killing them, tu need to push the balls that remain into the slots so tu can shoot them with the correct element
