i mean,i think it would have been a little akward.he wouldn't be a normal parent thats for sure.

He's a bit of a withdrawn loner, and I think a biological child would be an intrusion to him. Maybe kids he picked up on an adventure, like L Change the World, he'd be better with.

To tell the truth I think the same as you guys do. He might be somewhat of an akward parent. But he was so cute with Near in L change the world, I could not help but ask this question.

*Shrug* I only consider the manga L. I just can't see it happening. XD; Even if he were to have his own child someday, I could not see him being able to stand taking care of it. He's too into doing his own thing. He could grow into it someday, possibly, but...it would take some work.

OK this answer isn't EXACTLY how I feel but its better than the other.
My friend has a child and SHE LOVES her like it going out of style.
But before she had a child she didn't like the idea of children...and she was a bit wild (partier)but she said that having a baby changed her.

I think L would have been a good father...a child needs support and love and I think L could provide it for him/her/them.
He may not take them to the park and play ball but I think he would be a good father.

I don't see L as the loving type, hes the kinda of person that just wants to get the job done and anyway with his busy schedule of solving cases and dangerous title as number 1 detective i doubt he would be able to see the child at all, anyway i think bringing villains to justice is the most important thing in L's life and i don't think he would change that, to be honest i can't even see him having sex with anyone to begin with

Yeah, I think so. L is caring and kind of gentle. He always tries to help, when someone needs it. He has got no experience, but his own will. L is not the loving type, I agree to this, but still as a smart person, who has his own childish habits he can understand small people best of all. Besides, he won´t ever get annoyed by them... Because he is not annoyed of anything. This guy is emotionless, or tries to be it, but still I believe, that he can really have feelings for someone. L just knows better than anyone else, that for the work, he picked for his life, the most dangerous thing for him is to have family or important friends. That´s what i think.

Well, it would be a little tricky for him, but he would learn fast i think.
