Twelve reasons why I think he didn't kill himself and why he was murdered:
1) The shotgun was clean and there were no fingerprints
2) He had too much heroin to hold a shot gun
3) The gun was far from his body
4) He was a lefty and the bullet came from the right side
5) Courtney Love hired a hitman a couple days before his death
6) A call from his "mom" was a couple of days before the incident
7) He was as happy as he could have been
8) He wanted a divorce but Courtney didn't want it
9) He had a baby and loved her
10) He didn't appear suicidal
11) He wanted to get clean from drugs
12) He was going to retire and live with Frances

I mean if there is eventually hard facts that it was suicide then I won't be completely shocked or anything, but I do believe murder was very likely, and I do think Courtney may have had a part in it.

His murder was masterminded by his wife courtney love.The herion found on his body was not so much too kil a (addicted person)and the second prove is that he was lefty and the shortgun was found on his right hand & his credit card was used after his death. there were NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fingerprints on the shoutgun AND the sucide letter last four lines were not of his own handwriting...COURTNRY DID not reopen the case again ... right now i think it is suicide,
1) the fingerprints might have been rubbed off accidentally by someone handling it while picking it up to look for evidence or since it was a couple of days after someone found him and they waited a while to check fingerprints.
2)there was a study about this, a guy took 3 times the limit it was shown that it took a minute until things caught up, and we don't know how much he can take and his body might have got used to it.
3)the gun was actually in his left hand (source was bad)
4)he might have done it intentionally
5)we still dont know if it is true if she hired a hitman
6)might have nothing to do with it
7)it is normally the happiest people who commit suicide
8)maybe it was the other way
9)it was said that when he saw her after his tour she didn't care he was there and that she used to be like "daddy's here!"
10)might have been hiding it
11)he relapsed
12)even when you retire media always follows you

Courtney wouldn't kill him. This is why he killed himself:
1) He didn't like people, and a lot of people liked him.
2) He tried to commit suicide earlier in life on tour.
3) His life wasn't a good one.

you don't know how much heroin kurt tolerated, they did a test on a guy where they put 3 x the lethal amount on a guy and he could do stuff for a minute until the heroin kicked in

First of all, everyone who typed that he had a "lethal" dose or too large a dose of heroin to commit suicide is a total idiot. There is no magic number or level or otherwise of heroin that causes death. What I take daily would kill most people today I had 120 mgs of methadone for breakfast along with 60 mgs of adderall. About 11 hours later I crushed and ingest 10 80 mg oxycontins and snorted one. I chased it about 15 minutes later with a cup of herbal tea and 5mgs of Xanax, I feel really good, but I'm coherent enough to drive, do the dishes, mow the lawn etc. Now 2 years ago that would have killed me, but you can build up a tolerance to opiates that may seem unfathomable to some. &if you are saying now duh duh duh well heroin is different you're even dumber than I thought b/c while yes of course it is slightly different in that it is a whole other substance the mechanism of action is similar and the chemical formula (now we're talking on a mo-lec-u-lar level here, is very similar). Besides before methadone saved my life I shot plenty of heroin and had to take people to the hospital that did less than I did. And if you doubt I can do all that, bring em all over and I'll show you, and thanj you in advance. Kurt was like myself, a lifelong user of opiates, he was on them basically from age 16, and it just changes your brain's biochemistry so much, and then he became rich. That m'f'er was doin so much heroin each day it was unbelievable so that's out. 2nd it isn't unusual in that since they paid a maid to clean, and before he picked it up the shotgun was probably clean of prints, that just using to shoot oneself in the head there wouldn't be prints on it. Try it yourself-WITH AN EMPTY GUN (though you people are so annoyingly stupid I don't wish death on anyone not on my list). 3rd he was chronically depressed, and trust me chronic depression and opiate addiction is a bad, bad mixture. It has been very hard for me at times to hold on, which does make me pose the question that if I could hold on and get through it, would a multi-millionaire set for life financially with a new baby really feel that hopeless as to do it?
That is the big question. And since I have the unique insight into it it does seem hard to swallow at times, and there are things you didn't mention like that douchebag P.I. Courtney hired and her friend searching the house and not finding the body in the greenhouse. I don't know where that dumazz abcd gets his info from, but he seems to change his mind more often than his underwear, but since he had the heroin thing and the prints thing listed, then goes on to say he was as happy as he could have been (who talks like that anyway?), and that he didn't appear suicidal, makes me throw all his other stuuf that I don't know of out the window, no matter how much of a silver spoon fed sucklin on his mommy's teet easy azz life he had, you have to know that if someone is climbing over the wall of a drug detox, you are not as happy as can be dancin on lollipop lane. I don't know about the divorce thing, I'd like to know more about that but lioke one of the few non braindead people said, we can't bring him back, but I even have a problem with that, b/c if he was murdered, then I would like to see the person/people responsible be made to pay for it. I did over three years of my life in jail over probation violations that all stemmed from kicking someones ass and being a passenger in a f'in stolen car, and my best friend is in the f'in penitentiary over violations of a case that started with pot, so a f'in murderer who took all that good music he still had in him away from us, his fans should pay. But I also saw that 50 year old stick armed, man boobed fried brained singer who claimed Courtney tried to hire him; and it's hard to lend too much creedence to him.
At this time I think it was just the suicide of a chronically depressed, lifelong opiate abuser who was used by nearly everyone around him, including Courtney, and just couldn't take it anymore.
That whole he was killed b/c he was going to quit making music and he was worth more dead than alive is an absolutely retarded hypothesis. People take breaks from recording and touring all the time, and even if he was thinking of stopping, I'm sure he'd have went back to making music eventually. If there is actual evidence that he was planning on leaving Courtney, and he had evidence of her infidelity or something and she wasn't going to get much cash out of him and he was going to get custody, then it's possible, that Courtney could have set something up, but I doubt it, b/c the laws are tipped in the scales of the woman in the first place, and Kurt's problems were well publicized. It's doubtful he'd've gotten sole custody. So in spite of some strange things, and some shady people, and incompetent people, I truly think he just had enough of this shitty world and said goodbye to it.

We all love Kurt but fact of the matter is he had issues and his songs though speaking to our souls b/c he felt what we felt were testimates to his depression. His life was falling apart he was so deep in drugs and the fame he didn't know what to do with himself and him and Courtney were on the rocks and he only had his daughter which according to some was distant with her father he had a long time to comtemplate his desicion and though we wish someone did something to help him with his obvious but at the same time hidden depression there just wasn't anyone there to really look at him and say 'ok so here's a man who obviously is dealing with a lot and needs a friend not a bed buddy or drugs' which most of his so called friends were on compromising his recovery and ultimately he felt suicide was the only way out of his hell i wish he didn't do it but i really believe that he did and wanted us to at least have an inkling as to why thus his letter. Trust me, i wish out of the two if he had to die when he did that drugged-up mess otherwise know as Courtney did it i really don't like her and even if she didn't directly do it she had her part in it if he wasn't murdered well even though they were in the process of getting a divorce she was the closest to him so i don't believe there isn't anything she could've done like she said while reading Kurt's alleged suicide note she could've gotten help for him supported him with his recovery from drugs and not making him feel like crap for not doing what all the other rockstars were doing. I blame her for getting herself so caught up in the dangerous world of rock and roll and for Kurt going down for both her and himself i blame her for Frances placated affection towards her father in the days leading up to his passing i blame her alot for Kurt's downward spiral that ultimately ended in his death and now Frances has to deal with that burden of not having a father growing up and having a junkie of a mom with a few screws loose in her head.
P.S i totally agree with psycokiller32 you can do so much drugs you can build an immunity to it and various other things i can only compare it to like snake bites sometimes people let snake bite them or ingest their venom in small doses and take more little by little until they could probably have the deadliest venomous snake bite them 10 times over and not have any side affects that's what it was for Kurt he could probably have more herion than blood in his system and he'd be all good and the probable reason i think he took all that herion was b/c of the side effects the attitude it would've gave him the high, the fake happiness. He probably wanted to be happy while he died so when he was perfectly comfortable he did what he felt he had too and abcd if the gun was in his left hand yes he could've shot right side he was high what do expect he wasn't completely level minded he was a mysterious person to some of the very distant outside lookers maybe he wanted his death to be weird just like a lot of ppl percieved him as.
