I don't really get Sebastian and Ciel's relationship. Someone help?

I'm not sure if they're neutral o if they actually amor each other. Because in the anime they don't have any romantic activities and in the theme song there's a line that says "and play with my upper lip." Now that irked me.

Well, according to most ppl, their relationship is just a typical master-servant relationship since kuroshitsuji is a shonen manga/anime. But sometimes in the manga and the anime, there are scenes that look like they are having a romantic relationship, even the autor of the manga dicho that intially the manga was supposed to be a yaoi manga, but her idea was rejected and she was forced to change the manga into how it was now. So, the answer is quite ambiguous.
