End of Chapter 30
***Jasper's POV***
I fought with everything I could, doing my best to avoid the attacks and when possible fight back with everything I could. I heard Edward fighting and had a fraction of a segundo to worry about how he was fighting and if he could see, before the other man waged another attack, his fists hitting me so hard that I flew about twenty feet back where my head connected with the brick facade of the building behind me.
I heard him running towards me, my body tensed for the attack I knew was coming. I managed to mover out of the way with segundos to spare, the mans fist connecting with the wall..bricks flying everywhere. I spun as fast as I could grabbing him por the shoulders as he went past me, I used his momentum against him.
I was so focused on the attack and staying alive that it wasn't until I heard Alice's scream that I realized that Rosalie, Emmett and Alice had come to registrarse us. My anger and fear for Alice's safety is what I used to spin my attacker around his body turning to the left as I held his neck and spun to the right..ending his poor excuse for a life.
Edward's POV
I fought the leader, lectura his mind as we fought which made it easier for me to avoid his attacks in the complete dark, and take advantage of his weakness once I found them. He ran at me as fast as he could, his intent to get a hold of my neck and use his momentum to oscilación me around, severing my head from my shoulders in one rápido, swift move. I knew of his plan however, and took advantage this knowledge at the first opportunity.
He ran at me, his eyes full of violence and conviction...I knew that the only thought he had at that moment was of his hands wrapping around my heck and ending my 'life' once and fore all. I smiled at him, his anger raging más with mocking which only made all of this easier.
I waited for him to be within arms reach before I moved to the left, his entire being rushing forward...his eyes on my face until I moved. He rushed past me and attempted to turn, but when he turned I was there, a smile on my face. His eyes were wide as he took in his last view, my face a vindictive smile spread across my mouth, my eyes narrowed with vindication. I gripped his face in my hands, my nails digging into his cheeks as I turned my hands one way while his body twisted the other.
In that one moment the dark disappeared, and I saw the horror that surrounded this small alley. At one end I saw a body, the limbs and head removed, and Jasper, Alice, Emmett, and Rosalie huddled around what I would assume was the only survivor from this trap. At the other end I saw Bella, her mother and father her mother obviously in shock, one hand clenched in her husband's and one in Bella's. The man looked at his wife, unsure as to what had just happened...he was positive that he had heard fighting in the dark, but could see nothing except my family at the end of the alley..he thought it was their fault. Bella, for some reason she did not surprise me. Thought I could not read her thoughts, the expression on her face was enough that I knew what she was thinking. She locked eyes with mine and smiled, mostrando all of her joy, her gratefulness, and her surprise that I was here..and with others.
"Edward." Alice called as she reached over and grabbed on to Jasper, steadying herself.
I blinked a fraction of a segundo before the vision consumed all of my attention. I was instantly seeing the same things that Alice was seeing, it was the same alley way that we were all in now..except there were police at one end, pistolas drawn as the pointed at my family.
