Lizards. The favorito! snack of my cat. I’m tempted to subir a video of him eating all but the tiny toxic bit, what I make up must be a lagartija, lagarto large intestine. It’s anything but large – these lizards aren’t dinosaurs, they’re the garden variety. 6, 8 inches max.
The January weather has come back around to the way I amor it so in San Diego. Our equivalent to winter is wetness and that seems to have all dried up. Warmth becomes us and the lizards emerge to the concrete surfaces, lifting their heads high, gazing directly...

A sign publicado on a door for hotel staff had been defaced and now read, "Hot__ Associates Only." This kind of human behavior and fondling of letters inspires me. Upon seeing it, I am moved to fetch me lady and me camera and have her pose as if she's entering the special room. Whatever might go on in a room reserved for hot associates only, I hope there's lots of oil and a communal lathering.
By the time I get to my room to get the camera I've completely forgotten about the task. I could blame it on where my mind had wandered...

I’m a fan of positive articulation. To me, this is a step beyond positive thinking. It’s putting your positive thoughts into action – into doing – into words.
Every New Year’s I resolve to do something new/different with my life. Something grand. Something transformative. Sometimes it’s to continue doing something I love, but often it’s a new invention of some kind. Last year, the main theme was activism and in 2010 I certainly got my feet wet, literally por tromping thru the Lake Volta Region in Ghana, learning...

Second to words, I’m a numbers guy. I like significant dates, digits, and planetary transits. I’ve been drawn to the number 1134 since I discovered while dangling upside-down with a calculator that it read, HELL. Seeing 1134 on the clock, odometer, o as the total on a receipt always makes me feel, if sadistically, like I’m in the right place at the right time. The same with 11:11. I always make a wish. Of course, whether o not it works is all just a story I made up, but it shifts my attention back...

This is the most extraordinary recording I own. Whenever I play just the audio for people, the common reaction to the round of applause at the end is one that accompanies awe. “THAT was LIVE?!”
Check This Out. It's 13 minutos short and tu may not understand a word... Offer yourself the time. Give yourself permission to be moved por something new. This is your journey after all, and it was tu who stumbled upon this music. The universe obviously wants tu to hear this.

3542 miles so far and not once have I had to buy water. I know everyone who reads this blog uses a reusable water bottle – and I thank tu for hooking up your friends and family this holiday season.
Every time I refueled I would carry my water bottle and hot mug into the gas station and get clean cold water from the soda fuente (usually a little button under the lemonade) and hot water from the coffee machine. (Starbucks also gives free hot and cold filtered water.) Carrying my own té also made my travels super enjoyable,...
