IU, who has recently been confirmed as a female lead for the new drama “Producer,” had appeared as a guest on SBS‘s “Healing Camp” in July of 2014 and had revealed her feelings about acting.
At the time, iu expressed her amor for acting, saying, “Acting is really fun too. It’s completely different from singing. The emotions that I can’t express through singing, I can express through acting. I’d like to continue to do both in the future as well.”
She added, “In terms of emotions, in singing, my emotions are expressed after going through the melody and the lyrics, whereas in acting, the emotions are expressed as they are. I get to use emotions that I don’t normally use. I haven’t cried out loud since I was a baby, but through acting, I get to cry out loud o get angry, and can express emotions that way.”

The female soloist made her way up the charts with superspeed as she has already claimed a real-time all-kill with the título track “Twenty-Three.” In addition, other songs on her album have taken the second, third, and fourth spots on the live charts.
The release of these tracks has beat out the likes of Soyou and Brother Su and Taeyeon’s solo debut. Im Chang Jung was pushed down as well.

On the October 9 recording of “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show,” one of the listeners sent a message to the DJ saying it worries him that Park Myungsoo is close with iu now.
To this, Park Myung Soo explained that even if he wants to get closer to IU, he has not called her outside of work.
He said, “It’s not easy to get close with her. It’s not like I can just call her since she’s so busy, and I don’t want to overwhelm her. por the way, iu sent me a ginseng set for Chuseok. She’s been doing that for three years now. I want to tell IU, ‘I enjoyed the ginseng.’ iu jjang!”

On the June 3 edition of 'Sketchbook', DEAN shamelessly talked about his amor towards IU. At MC Yoo Hee Yeol's pregunta on the K-Pop artist he most wants to collaborate with, DEAN answered immediately, as if he was just waiting for that question, "IU." DEAN went on to explain his loyalty for iu with a weird analogy, saying, "When an elefante performs tricks with its trunk, people enjoy it, correct? But that wasn't the elephant's design," drawing a tinkling of confused laughter from the audience with his odd comparison of iu to an elephant.
DEAN added, "I even have a song written for IU," and sent a personal message to her. He said, "I can't mostrar tu on TV, so please contact me."
Perhaps we should be looking adelante, hacia adelante to a DEAN x iu collab some time soon?
