The highly anticipated historical fantasía drama “Scarlet Heart” has confirmed its broadcast date! The drama is an adaptation of the Chinese web novel and drama of the same name and the Korean production will be broadcast in both China and Korea simultaneously.
The drama completed casting in November and features an all-star cast including Lee Joon Gi, IU, Hong Jong Hyun, EXO’s Baekhyun, Kim San Ho, Yoo Sun Woo, Nam Joo Hyuk, Ji Soo, Kang Ha Neul, Kang Han Na, and Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun among many, many more.
“Scarlet Heart,” formerly called “Moon Lovers,” will be broadcast in September on SBS in Korea and Youku in China. The Chinese production won Best Foreign Drama at the Seoul International Drama Awards in 2012 and features the female lead being sent back in time to the Qing dinastía after a car accident.
The Korean version features iu as the female lead and the setting will be Korea’s Goryeo dynasty. Lee Joon Gi will be playing the fourth prince in King Taejo Wang Geon’s family, and the drama has been planned for a total of 20 episodes.

When asked if she often heard she looked like somebody, she replied, "Because I'm round-faced, in early debut days, [I was told I looked liked] Shinji. When I take pictures, I hear once in a while that I look like IU. más than anything, I hear I look like a raccoon," making everyone laugh.
When asked which estrella she wanted to meet at least once, she replied, "Everybody's boyfriend, Kang Dong Won. I just want to see him once. I'm curious about how he looks in real life. I watched 'The Priests' recently and his visuals were so amazing that just looking at him caused the two hours to slip by."

On the reciente episode of “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” on October 16, Jang Ki Ha appeared as a guest. When Yoo Hee Yeol introduces Jang Ki Ha and the singer mentions his song “Let’s Meet Now,” the MC has a smile on his face.
Then Yoo Hee Yeol says, “People are saying let’s meet on Friday,” and teased Jang Ki Ha por referencing IU‘s “Friday.”
He continues, “I say this again, but ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook’ airs on Fridays so let’s meet on Fridays.”
The audience immediately laughs at the sly reference.
