Charmecia5, how would you know if Kagome will do something stupid. I think it s Kagome she will like, because they are both human, both married to a demon, both are kind and warm, and express the fellings on their face. Besides, Kagome is nice and friendly, so Izayoi would likely choose her.

Obviously Kagome because she smiles a lot, or you mean EVERYTIME. Kikyo doesn't really smile she looks sad mostly. InuYasha's mum would ACCPECT who ever marries to InuYasha but I believe Kagome more since she is really kind like InuYasha's mum.

I think Iyazoi is an understanding woman. She probably knows that both girls love her son dearly and would do everything for him. And she knows that the choice belongs to her son.

However, I guess she would choose Kikyou because she probably could feel Kikyou in someways. They had many resembles in the way they acted: Elegant, Calm & Gentle. She would know that Kikyou isn't tough as her looks. They both dead. She wanted Kikyou at least to know there is someone who is her ally. Kagome has many of them.

Even so, she wouldn't act hatred towards Kagome for sure.

I’d say Kagome. I think she would appreciate it that someone would care for her son as deeply as she would.

Plus, Kikyo DID pin Inuyasha to a tree with an arrow for 50 years, tried to kill him and his group, and steal the souls of young people to stay alive.

So I definitely see Kagome winning over Izayoi instead of Kikyo.
