The first thing she heard was door being unlocked, the segundo she heard were footsteps, getting closer and closer. Then the footsteps stopped. Lisa took a deep breath. What was she to do if it was Hugh? What was she to do if it weren’t Hugh? And just as she hold on to that thought a male figure came to her view. And Lisa had no más doubt.
“I’ve been looking for you…” dicho Hugh as he approached Lisa.
Lisa couldn’t say anything, all of sudden her voice was gone.
“We need to talk…” he continued as he got even closer. Lisa was still not responding.
“Aren’t tu gonna say anything at all” he was a little bit confused.
But Lisa really couldn’t say anything. Not because she had nothing to say, it was because she didn’t now with what to begin with.
“Ok… so… Should I talk then?” Hugh dicho as he scratched his head, getting even más confused.
She just couldn’t say it, she was frozen. So Hugh moved closer to her. First getting few feet away from her, just to see her reaction. But he didn’t get any. So he moved closer and closer until he was two inches away from her.
At that moment, Lisa not only couldn’t say anything, she couldn’t breathe either! He lifted his palm and searched for her chin as he was about to reach it, Lisa finally spoke.
“What the hell are tu doing?” she used a higher voice, unwillingly, but it was out there.
“I was…” Hugh started explaining but Lisa cut him off.
“Are tu a jerk? Seriously? Coming to my house after all tu have dicho and wanting to kiss me pretending like nothing happened? Seriously? Are tu a jerk?” Lisa continued, yelling
“Maybe I am a jerk, but I’m a divorced jerk.” Hugh snapped as Lisa glared.
