House came back to his office to took his stuff that he could leave home, case was finished and Cuddy was already left so he was free to go home. House was packing his stuff when Wilson entered his office.
“- tu leaving..?”, Wilson came just to talk, he couldn’t leave yet. “- Yeah, I finished the case and Cuddy already left, so there is no reason for me to stay any longer”, he dicho not looking at Wilson, just packing his bag.”-Cuddy left? Did tu came to talk with her..?”, Wilson was staring at his friend with questioning look but House couldn’t see his face, “-I needed to get her sign to close my case. And looks like her nanny couldn’t stay any longer”, he give him quick look to mostrar him not being interest. “- oh...right, Lucas can’t take care of Rachel anymore..”, Wilson still didn’t knew enough information about Lucas, but if Cuddy broke up with him, it would be awkward if Lucas would still care of baby. House just nodded, he already dicho that he won’t talk about Lucas.
House finished packing and was ready to leave but when he reached the door Wilson stopped him for a minute, “- Are tu really ok to be just friends with Cuddy?”, Wilson’s voice was like always caring, “- I told tu already, if I doesn’t have any options left than yes”, he dicho quickly that he could leave as quickly as possible without boring conversation, “- So I can be sure that tu won’t go to bar to get drunk?”, Wilson was looking at his face searching for his reaction, but House face like usual calm, he had talent to hide his emotions from him. “- Yeah... why I should get drunk? I’m not that pathetic.”, he left right after that, sometimes Wilson can be very annoying. He is wrong if he think that he know House so well.
Wilson wanted to believe him but somehow he just couldn’t. When Cuddy start dating Lucas he start drinking much more, just without any reason, o always with the same reason, cause he can’t be with Cuddy, cause he is jealous.
House wasn’t planning to get drunk, after conversation with Cuddy and her friendly kiss, he felt kind happy, he felt really ok to be friends. But know when he was driving inicial like always thinking about her, that mind didn’t sound so stupid. House shook his head, that mind is not very good. He should stop depressing cause her, well he still can’t have her, but she is with Lucas anymore too. And now she is his friend, and if he will be good friend one día it could become something more. House smiled widely for himself, that idea give him más strength to handle that friendship.
siguiente día House arrived to work in very good mood, now he had destiny to become her such good friend that she could see what she lost and finally get together. That mind was like drug o caffeine who keep him to reach his destiny. He was so happy about his brilliant idea the he looked in much better mood, it made him even to smile, he finally start look happy. And he knew that Cuddy would be happy about his good mood too.
Off course he couldn’t hide his mood from Wilson too. Wilson noticed his good mood until first look at him, but all morning he doesn’t had any opportunities to ask him about it. But in his luck House didn’t lost his mood all morning too.
Finally he get his chance in late lunch time. Wilson came to cafeteria to take some snack o coffee and saw House sitting por mesa, tabla in corner alone. When he came to him Wilson saw him sitting with two coffee cups, “- Hay...did tu knew that I will came?”, Wilson sit siguiente to House and he looked kind shocked about it, “- heno, hay Wilson..actually no, I didn’t knew that tu will be there..”, his voice sound confused, he was staring at those two cups looking for good answer.”- Than why tu have two coffee cups?”, House wasn’t such huge coffee fan to buy two cups just for himself.
“- Cause one cup is for me”, Wilson heard recognisable voice from his left, “- heno, hay James”, that was Cuddy, smiling widely at her two friends, “- Lisa...”, Wilson was staring at her while she took the asiento in front of House and took one of cup. “- This one is mine?”, she was looking at House until he nodded, “- yeah...light Late with milk, without sugar”, they smiled at each other and turned at Wilson, who was still shocked. “-Would tu buy a coffee for yourself too?”, Cuddy asked finally when Wilson still continued sitting with small shock on his face.”- Yeah...I was about going now..”, Wilson quickly stand up and went to buy coffee for himself too, he wanted to came back to them as quickly as possible, he couldn’t imagine what they two will talk about.
When Wilson came back to mesa, tabla he found them having nice conversation and laughing at each other. He just froze, when that happened, when from fittings they came until laughing. Yesterday they both was avoiding each other eyes and today they can’t take off their eyes of each other.
“- Wilson, tu missed very funny story”, House and Cuddy smiled at each other again remembering their conversation and Wilson felt like interrupting two lovers.
When Wilson take a asiento siguiente to House they start talking just about hospital stuff. House told about his patient and they all three discussed about it. Later when Cuddy finished her coffee she needed to came back to work and now left just to friends, House and Wilson.
“- Ok, what’s happening..?”, Wilson asked right after Cuddy walked away enough far not to hear. “-What do tu mean?”, House just continued drinking his coffee mostrando his misunderstood face.”-Don’t try to trick me House. Just yesterday tu both felt uncomfortable being around each other and now tu are actuación like two buddies.”, House couldn’t helped but smiled widely. “- Wilson stop it, I told tu that now we are friends”, Wilson’s face was very serious, he would never could believe that they two could be friends, at least not so good ones. “- Are tu two dating?”, House just froze, he gave him questioning look, why he even thinking like that.”- No we not. Wilson don’t tu think that I would tell tu that? I told tu that I won’t try to get her when she finally trust me”. Wilson’s face was still same serious, somehow he still couldn’t believe in it. “- Than how tu know what kind coffee she likes?”, House just laughed “-Coffee? Serious? Wilson, she told me, when I asked her to took a coffee together, coffee is not a secret.”, House finished his coffee and stood up to leave, this conversation was too stupid and funny. “- Oh, no... I won’t leave it like this, tu still have to explain it”, House just smiled and left. Wilson knew House just too well to believe in that stupid just friends story.
After those lunch everything changed, all week they act the same, talking , laughing drinking coffee, House even stopped taking lunch with Wilson. They still had some fights about cases but very quickly laughing again. Wilson tried to find out something but both Cuddy and House couldn’t dicho anything else, just we are friends now. Well off course they know each other very well about 20 years now and could be best friends, if there won’t be one some facts. House is not of those who could be very friendly and could change in one night, segundo House and Cuddy felt too much attractive at each other to be friends, third House is too big bastard not to ruin everything, and won’t make Cuddy angry about his actions. And House never was in good mood without serious reason and for such long time. One día he will find out the truth.
siguiente few weeks everything was still the same, and Wilson start missing his friend. Now House is almost every time having lunch with his new best friend, and even when they get fight about House act in clinic they still looks like good buddies and Wilson even start hate it.
One día Cuddy was in meeting so she was very busy all día and she couldn’t have lunch with House, so he went to his old good friend Wilson.
“- Hey, do tu have time for lunch?”, House dicho entering Wilson office without knocking, “- Suddenly tu remember me? And where your friend Cuddy?”, Wilson dicho in uninterested voice, “-Are tu jealous? Wilson, tu are still my friend.” House suddenly felt very guilty that he forget his friend these weeks, but he still appreciated their friendship. “- I get tired for not being myself, sometimes I need to talk to male friend, cause I’m starting to feel like gay”, he was lying but it sounded logical, so Wilson agreed to take lunch with his friend.
They went to cafeteria and took some food, off course Wilson had to pay. They take a asiento por mesa, tabla and start talking in their usual themes , but Wilson was interested just in one. “- So, would tu finally will say to me how tu two become so good friends without any thoughts about something more?”, House laughed, “-Wilson, are tu serious? Without any thought about something more? How long do tu know me?”, House started eating his lunch still smiling. “- Wait, so tu two have interested in each other?”, Wilson couldn’t start eating, now his minds was far away from food.”- Unfortunately just me, for now. How tu could believe it those bullshits that being together feelings disappearing, in real life they usually going deeper.” House laughed again still continuing eating.”-So tu don’t want to be just friends with her?”, Wilson was just analysing his face, forgetting food.”- Friends? Right, my biggest wishes to be just CUDDY’s friend. Until when I started believe in friendship between men and woman?”, House was still laughing and started to steel Wilson’s food, who wasn’t interested in it. “- So what that means, all this friendship?”, House gave him serious look, “- Are tu listening what I’m saying? I dicho when tu spend time together feeling going deeper not disappearing”, House finally finished his lunch and start eating Wilson while he doesn’t see that. “- And how is it, does it work?”, suddenly House stopped eating, his face didn’t mostrar big happiness. “- Well, I thought so, first it was going such great, but now it looks like it’s working just on me”, his voice sound very sad, if his plan won’t succeed House could sink in huge depression o worse. “- But it’s already weeks, how tu can still resist?”, House smiled, “- Good question, well I enjoy spend time with her. We are like real couple, just without those romantic things”, Wilson shook his head, “-And tu are okay with that?”, House looked at him with serious look, “- Are tu kidding, It’s Cuddy, in what planet I could be enough just kiss to cheek”, House shook his head trying not to think about it, “-When tu want something and tu are reaching your destiny very hard, tu could handle a lot of things, but off course if just tu finally get what tu wanted”, his face become very sad, it seemed like his believe in reaching destiny disappearing, he is losing his hope and it makes him desperate. “- And how long tu could handle? Weeks, months?”, House looked very sad, this conversation made him desperate, “-Actually I’m not sure anymore..it’s going harder and harder. I’m even not sure that I could handle más than week.”, Wilson could really see pain in his eyes.
Suddenly House phone start ringing and he needed to came back to his team. Wilson stayed to finish his food, what left of his food. He was worried about his friend but was happy that he finally know the truth, he really hoped that they will find their happy end together.
