Greetings to all the fans of H.P. Lovecraft. I won't take up too much of your time, I wanted to share something with tu that's been on my corazón for a long time now. I used to publicar a magazine called Dagger of the Mind. While it was fun, it was also a challenge. Long story short, I decided to cease publication for numerous reasons. Before I ceasing publication, I received a Cthulhu Mythos story with a new slant on it. That story, though I didn't publicar it, left an impression on me which still lingers to this day. Even as a Christian I did't really think that there was a way to incorporate cristianismo into the milieu. That seed took más than 20 years to germinate.

The story in pregunta was a solid Cthulhu Mythos story with a Christian emphasis. It wasn't overstated but subtle. I'm in the process of seeking stories for publication relative to the central theme of cristianismo woven into the storyline of the Cthulhu Mythos. I have a título for the collection and even a book cover concept which the Lord gave me several nights hace and they're still running through my mind. I'm excited about this and I pray that enough of tu are too in order to bring this to light.

Preserving Lovecraft in a new light will add not distract from his works and will cultivate a whole new interest from people who would otherwise have never thought about picking up one of his books. My pregunta to tu then is: would tu be willing to help get the word out about my new Lovecraftian paperback anthology? What's more, are tu an established Christian writer in the genre versed in the works of Lovecraft? Would tu be willing to enviar your stories for possible consideration to be published?

Largely I'm just testing the waters right now to see where I need to market this. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Blessings always.

 Classic Lovecraft short story retold.
Classic Lovecraft short story retold.
Back in 1920 H.P. Lovecraft published a short story entitled "The Doom That Came to Sarnath." It was one of his "dream cycle" stories, of events that took place 10,000 years ago.

Here's the basic idea: the city of Sarnath sits on the apuntalar, costa of an inland lake, the "still lake," HPL calls it, founded por settlers who had moved westward from a number of other olden realms with names like Kadatheron, Ilarnek, Thraa.

Also on the lake, however, is the ancient city called Ib, "peopled por beings not pleasing to behold," HPL also tells us. The men of Sarnath grow to despise these beings, and one day,...

This morning I had the opportunity to view some advance footage from the upcoming Australian survival thriller Sanctum, produced por James Cameron and due out in theaters siguiente mes in IMAX 3D (I'll post my reaction to this footage later today). Cameron of course is a fellow who knows a thing o two about the format, as well as all kinds of genre filmmaking. So after Cameron and Sanctum's director Alister Grierson spoke with me and a group of other journalists about the film, I made sure to chat with Cameron about his plans for another epic, one that's especially near and dear to our hearts...
