Wow i remember when this place had 67 fans... Then the world went "emo" the fuck with that, allot of ppl are posers. Do u agree?

well i wont be the one to disapoint tu so sure. i'm not going to say that they're posers, but más like followers. i was a member of this club since i came onto fanpop and i know i'm nor follower nor poser. most people who ORIGINALLY shopped at HT are fashion leaders who made their own style and i still think people do that just less often. i still follow ny own and i know others who do as well.

Totally! theres this girl at my school who brags about how shes gone "goth" & says her favorito! color is black and she "loves" skulls. While, last año she was wearing bright girly clothes and actuación all perky. I just dont get it!

yeah i do. its as if ppl. start wearing all black and then they think their sooo cool and unquie.

i do agree that alot of people are posers!! they would rather follow the latest fashion in the rebel world than stick with who they really are. i remember when that place was supposed to scare the fakes away and its atmosphere now seems nice and friendly. welcomes anyone who wants to enter!!! i shopped at that place since i was ten,although i was too small to fit into the clothes!!

Of corse i agree!!! My school is feeled to the rim with stupid emo posers... I'm not saying that im one, im just saying that its fuck'n anying sometimes to be around emo posers. cant they get their own thing and stick to it? Freak'n preps get on my nurves,too.

'Emo' has become a massive trend and I'm sure there are lots of people who are into it just to follow it, and follow their friends, and they will grow out of it. But, I don't like it when anybody that sometimes wears 'emo' items of clothing is labelled a 'poser'. I personally amor a lot of alternative clothing, and sometimes I am called an emo when I'm no such thing. I have lots of likes and lots of interests and I'm a big fan of fashion and I am a clothes junkie. Lots of things at Hot Topic catch my eye, and if I think they are nice I will wear them, if that makes me a 'poser' because I'm not emo o punk o any of that stuff, sorry. But I'll still wear it if I like it. I think a lot of people like that stuff, it doesn't mean they are 'posers'... a few of my friends have been into it on and off the last two o thre years, does that make them posers? No - it means they liked the style and tried it out. If they grow out of it, OK, if not, OK. I'm not that style but I wear 'that style stuff' sometimes as I amor clothes and they can be really attractive peices. If that's a problem, I apologize?...
I'm not having a go, por the way! =] It's just that word 'poser', I'm not sure what makes somebody a poser?... Are they just changing themselves to fit in with a crowd?...

i do agree! ive been a fan of this spot since 1/08 i rmbr when there were only a few of us. but hola the más the merrier! nbd. im not offended por posers o followers i think its a compliment.

emo is stupid, in my opinion. But ,whatever. Also Hot Topic isn't really emo. Goth maybe. But not emo.

well no i mean alot of ppl prob already shopped there but they like just found out about fanpop. like i have always shopped there. but im like emo/scene/punk mixed in one.
