Horcruxes are a very delicate subject at Hogwarts, owing to their evil nature. However, in light of reciente events, I have prepared this lesson as a basic introduction.
Horcruxes are containers that hold part of a wizard's soul. Very few wizards who make a Horcrux make más than one. Lord Voldemort was alone in this respect. Dividing one's soul in half takes a terrible toll on thed wizard. Only the truly evil rip it más than once.
One makes a Horcrux por commiting an act of unspeakable evil. Usually this is murder.
