in mid-August as downloadable content in Japan, Atlus announced.

Miku will be playable via the song “Heaven feat. Hatsune Miku (ATOLS Remix).”

Not sure how to take this, they realized the game needed a boost since miku is more popular than persona thus more copies selling just to play this dlc song which is interesting since that means that they didnt had enough faith in the game

Well Sega owns Atlus and Dingo was almost part of this game so this was long overdue

100+K copies sold already and this was just for a spin off on a portable that is already considered a legacy device

How many characters have had the honor of being drawn by both Tetsuya Nomura

and Shigenori Soejima!? I mean, she’s the only one right?

I want a wall scroll of Soejima’s Miku to go next to my gorgeous Nomura one.

Nomura is a much bigger figure in art/gaming, though, so I’m not sure that Soejima’s Miku will get the same treatment… I would enjoy it, though.

Don’t the other DLC characters have Personas? Every character summons their Persona at the end of a song, so what s she gonna do if she doesn’t have one?

1: It’s pretty funny but also weird that they would do this after Atlus seemingly had a falling out with Dingo. I know Dingo doesn’t make Project Diva anymore, but it’s still kinda ironic.

2: She looks fine in this style, but her face is odd. It’s like she has… too much emotion? That’s a weird thing to complain about, but I dunno.

3: …Did they go out of their way to remove Miku’s boobs? She’s never been busty to begin with, but there’s friggin’ nothing going on there in this game. :X

On point #3, you can see in Miku’s concept illustration that she does in fact have some modest breasts, but they’re mostly covered by those odd orbs.

Besides, Miku has always looked better as a pettanko.

On the one hand, I don’t tend to like ‘out-of-universe’ cameos like this (putting aside the being optional DLC part). Yeah, it’s sorta like a spin-off title and it makes sense for her to show up in a rhythm game. But being Miku, she obviously stands out like a lot. It’s just so weird to see her here.

On the other hand, I’m interested in hearing this Heaven remix (<3) of ATLOS and I LOVE Soejima's take on her. Her model looks miles better than the bland console and 'uncanny valley-ish' arcade one in Project Diva. Could do without the foor nipple buttons though. ; I'll probably pick it up anyways if it'll (most likely) come westward.

She should be a persona. She’s already a mythological figure bouncing around in the collective unconscious.

From the pic above most people will think Hatsune Miku is a guy. (they should at least give some small boobs there).

Expect plenty of MikuSega ads in Persona 5. Luckily the game takes place at the very place where those ads would make sence in the real world.
