The only part I had wrong was not pronouncing the E at the end.

I started reading them when I was nine, and I totally pronounced it wrong! I don't even remember how I said it, but my mom almost died laughing when I read them to her.

Lol, completely screwed up her last name too. I called her Hermy-On Gran-ger instead of her last name being pronounced "Grainjer."

Well, I read the first 5 books in German first and there her name is "Hermine" and it's obvious how to pronounce that in German. The first time I came across the English version of her name was in the first movie, so when I started reading the books in English, I already knew how to pronounce it.
