I originally publicado this as Kieran, at RPG-D and at my own Harry Potter RPG's forum. But I thought this would be useful for Harry Potter fanfiction writers in general as well.

There are countless ways tu can perfeclly easily bring a muggle main character into any Harry Potter story o RPG & have a whole world of possibilities open for it - even if they don't know o never learn about magic's existence! They can know o learn, of course. Just, they really don't need to in order to be endlessly and colourfully written to a muggle's full potential.

We live mainly the time period the libros and most roleplaying games skip over – generally the 1980s and the beginning of the '90s – we'll see how the sociaty healed from the long war, and what happened when in the summer of 1992 a rumour spread that the Boy Who Lived battled Voldemort inside Hogwarts! How is your character adapting? o is it a muugle who's yet to find out about the secret world of magic? o perhaps a muggle who's absolutely terrified por magic like Mr. Dursley?
