Couple that never happened?

I've always wondered what it'd be like if Harry &Hermione are couple in the books. But in real life, I once hoped Rupert & Emma would become an item. I don't know why it didn't.

Even though they did in the film they didn't in the libros and that's
Luna and Neville (They suited each other)
also
Draco and Hermione (What a twist that would have been)

That's about it. The rest of the couples I like (Ron&Hermione, Harry&Ginny) became canon, so it's just one couple that didn't happen.

I like the idea of a Luna/Dean relationship, since they seemed to become friends in DH (and in my crazy shipper's mind, friendship is synonymous with romance). And maybe Lavender/Cormac (she would adular, fawn over him and he would probably amor the attention).
