amor isn't about "deserving" someone, it's about... well, loving them! lol.

But yeah, I think Ron "deserves" Hermione (not that it matters). He's not book-smart, but so what? Does that make him automatically incompatible with Hermione? Pshh.

I have to dissagree with Ron being "pathetic" >.< He's had his moments, like in the Prisoner of Azkaban book when he dicho something along the lines of "If tu want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill me first!" - unfortunately, that moment was dado to Emma Watson's Hermione in the movie, giving people who only watch the cine don't read the libros that Ron is, indeed, not as awesome as he really is...

well i think yah cuz they care for each other but they dont really mostrar it.. yah i think he does deserve hermione
