No, I believe not. The Elder Wand is, I think, irrelevant for this matter, because it wasn't even once mentioned in the fifth book, none of us knew anything about it, and so didn't J.K., I believe. The Elder Wand is a powerful wand, but as we all know, Harry and Voldemort never had a duel. At least not a real one... Harry had a truly powerful weapon, and, as Dumbledore dicho so, it is love. I hardly believe J.K. would make a mistake in the last book, that she wouldn't explain it right. She knew what she was writing, and if she dicho it is love, then I believe it is love...Because Voldemort wasn't able to love, he had no mercy, and so Harry knew what he would become, and that's why he tried to convince Voldemort to feel pity and regret for what he had done; Harry knew Voldemort wouldn't come back if he died without any Horcruxes bonding him to this life. That was Harry's true weapon, the one that cursed Voldemort to a weak, non - existent creature we had the opportunity to see in DH, that creature under the chair that Harry felt so sorry for in the beginning...It is all love!!!
