Because some of the death eaters are interesting, like Bellatrix. Some people may not like her but tu have to admit she is an interesting character. And I favor Draco because he's a character with much depth. I really don't "favor" the bad guys though. I only like them at times. Their not my favorite. Also, Voldemort is a character we don't get to see much about so...

I'm not saying their not interesting characters, they are, but so many people are putting them up there with the "Good Guys" and it's kind of strange...

Because they like them. Bad guys (at least, in HP) tend to be más interesting and complex than the good guys. Some of them tend to be más relateable. And some of them are just enfriador, refrigerador than the good guys. It's all just a matter of preference.

I agree that it is a matter of what a person thinks. Everyone has different opinions.

It depends on the person's taste, some people , including me, think the bad guys are much enfriador, refrigerador than the good ones, they make any tale más fresh más lively and interesting to read, for example I while lectura Harry Potter I can't wait till I reach a part that Bellatrix o Voldemort o any bad guy to appear

Do tu favor the out standing pupil in striped cashmere vest and tie who is kind to everyone and drives a toyota o the school skipping, leather jacketed sarcastic jerk who rides his motorcycle?

Bad guys are always más exciting, because they are unpredictable. It's easier to portray a negative character and thus negative characters are always much better created than positive ones.

Plus we are all human and like to think nobody is better than ourselves. Although we are aware of our imperfection deep down, we don't like to be reminded of it por perfect characters. In a silly way, we envy them and cover for that with a certain amount of dislike.

Ive always favored villans ever since I can remember. Not jet in hp either.

To me there más complex
They have an interesting background
Good guys are kind of the same to me
Honestly for me it's just something about them
Some even have potential to be good
It's something I grew up liking kind of a habit
I guess tu can say it's my bad side I'm one of those too well behaved people

Not really. I wouldn't say that they're pathetic. People like them because they're cool and just... EVIL. xD

Maybe there are traits in the bad guy's that are easy to sympathize with, like Voldemort's lack of self confidence? I'm actually not to fond of the bad guys myself but I did once hear this used to describe a sadistic but highly sympathized por the fan base character from a beloved TV program of mine.

But then again I'm not sure, that guy was actually a good guy in the series with some very bad habits while the Harry Potter villains are simply villains with awful habits.
