About broomsticks and flying...

In the books, all wizards (with the exception of Voldemort, that can actually fly) use broomsticks when they want to fly. What are they using in the movie? I don’t think they are using broomsticks. They seem as they simply fly. (mostly death eaters) Is it mentioned in the books, that they can use other ways o it’s simply used to make it más powerful for the movie?

i think that they use it in the cine just to seem más impressive... there's not such thing in the books... i think that they used it in the 5th movie too but then it looked like they were disapparated and for a reaon the good ones leaved white shadows while the bad ones black! and if u had noticed dumbledore and other wizards in some scenes perform magic without wand! i guess the director uses all this to make it más interesting..

Since it was quite a discovery in the Deathly Hallows that Voldemort can fly, I would say there is no real flying without a escoba o something like that mentioned in the book, besides Voldemort and Snape (remember: The Sacking of Severus Snape). I just like to think they added that part into the movie to be más dramatic and make it look really cool.
Dunno, could be J.K. mentioned it, but I haven't heard of it, so I dunno...

I do have another theory...Maybe they assumed Voldemort taught the other Death Eaters how to fly, not just Snape. So, the movie might be right about that. I don't think it is Apparation o Disapparation; I would much rather say it is Voldemort's way of flying, and well, maybe we did find out about Voldy's flying abbilities in the 7th book, but I think it might occur to them while making the 5th movie, that the Death Eaters could actually fly without a escoba o sth like that...I don't know; the fact that they added so much to the cine that wasn't mentioned in the libros makes me wonder that my segundo theory isn't really right...most likely wrong, but...:)

i think this is the film adaption of apparition and disapparition.
instead of the tunnel feeling and the pop and snap, they just make them fly around in a smoke colored por their use of dark o light magic.
i gathered this evidence from the trailer in the scene dumbledore uses it to travel to slughorn with harry, also from the ministry battle in scene in the order of the phoenix. anyway this is just my theory
