How did tu like the deathly hallows part 1?

Since most of tu now have watched o soon be watching the deathly hallows part one, what did tu really think of it?

I thought it was awesome, got most of the scenes from the book, some details i think they could have included like kreachers tale and also having dumbledores casket in the school grounds other than that misceláneo island, but i still think it was fantastic, put a lot of humour in it, which i think was great!!

I really really liked it! David Yates's directing surprised me, really. I disliked his directing in OotP and HBP, but in Deathly Hallows, he really turned it into a work of art! Especially the locations! They're all TO DIE FOR. His artistic sense is SPOT ON.

The omission of several parts of the book, imo, was cleverly done. Not too confusing, enough for a non-reader of the book to understand. I would have liked to have seen Kreacher on Harry's side, but it's great nonetheless.
I also loved the part where Harry dances with Hermione. Very touching, and enough to alleviate the tension throughout the camping part.

Kudos to David Yates for his most SUPERB work yet!

I agree completly, I was worried about Yates being the director of the last two movies, but damn he did a great job with this one! The thing I liked the most was the ending, I really think is absolutely perfect. Epic movie, really.

Exactly my sentiments. He was able to keep my attention glued throughout the film, and I have to admit, the camping part was pretty boring. Very epic directing.

I'm seeing it tonight!! I'm a little baffled though as I heard the portraits between Grimauld place and the headmaster's office had been omitted? If this is true, how the buggery bollucks are they going toi explain how Snape found them in the woods in order to send the Silver Doe with the Sword in part 2? lol

In my opinion, it's without a doubt the best movie of the franchise so far. It's really really dark at times. I legit cried on a couple of the scenes and I never usually cry on movies. But this movie was very emotional. Having dicho that, the humor is also amazing. There are numerous times where the whole theater burst into laughter. There was also a few "awww" moments :P. I also have to comentario on the CGI. WOW!! The CGI was amazing!! And they really follow the book quite well, so this one is definitely my favorite.

I thought it was great. I think the 'tale of the three brothers' was well done, and I cried a lot at Dobby's death.
I would have liked to have seen Kreachers tale, too, and seeing Lily's letter.
I thought it was good how they played on the Hitler aspect and stuff, it was kind of scary.

Overall, I loved it!

It was so great! I saw the midnight show. Best movie of my life. It is the best movie-book comparison of Harry Potter yet. I loved it. Emma Watson is cute, and Rupert Grint is awesome. The movie was so good. They included nearly every detail. I loved the part when Ron pulls harry out of the pool in the frozen forest, and the Ron goes, "Are tu MENTAL!?". I loved this movie so much, that i am still watching the trailers of the movie, after I saw it on big-screen. The movie is great!

I just saw it and it blew me away. The best por fay! I actually cried tears when Dobby died and jumped out my skin many times. It definately captures the darkness and finality of it all. I wouldn't call this a child's movie AT ALL. Dan, Rupert & Emma's actuación skills were much better than in anterior cine too. It really felt so real. I just can't believe we have to wait until siguiente July for part 2!! Really, why that long? They could release it around Easter time o something, that would be plenty long enough. I think we need to start a petition to get the release fecha moved adelante, hacia adelante o I will run mad!

I have to add that I'm a tad confused as to why they left out Hermione packing the portrait from Grimauld Place....it's the link between that portrait and the headmaster's office that allowed Snape to know there whereabouts in order to send the doe with the sword. So how the jiggins are they going to explain how he knew where they were in part 2? The person who sent the doe has to be revealed o it would be silly.

Yeah thats true, well the thing is the snatchers 'magically appeared' when they were in the forest no explanation was given, and i think the petition idea is good :D i cant wait till July too long

Yeah I thought the snatchers appeared when one of them dicho Voldemort's name in the book, due to the trace. But in the movie they were just....there. It didn't seem to confuse my mum though and she hasn't read the book.

I thought it was awesome! The best in the series por far. They followed the book más so than they have ever done, the effects were amazing, and the actuación was phenomenal! There a few things I wish they would have kept in (mainly Kreacher's tale and Harry finding the letter)and one thing I wish they wouldn't have added, but beyond that, it blew me away.

On a side note: I went with my family and, right before the silver doe scene I could have sworn a certain person (*cough*Severus*cough*) whispered "trust me." Did anyone else hear that? No one I went with did.

OMG!!!! AHHHH! THIS is the BEST one so far. I know we all have been saying that. But this one really is. The acting, the mixture of love, suspense, hatred, humor. The actuación from everyone was beyond great. The sets, Costumes, small moments that just touched your corazón and others hinted at things to come- spoken o not. EYE LANGUAGE. And everyone cheered after Bellatrix who is a million times más nuts told Dobby " HOW DARE tu DISOBEY your MASTER" ..... " Dobby has no master, DOBBY is a free elf!" and everyone clapped.

I would have to say the actors who highlighted it for me this part were

Rupert
Emma
Dan
Helena
the Twins

all though did their best performances EVER

I now have a Crush on Rupert, he is Manly in this film, him and Dan WHOO BABY.

I cried a LOT when Dobby died TT^TT and I liked the scene when Harry and Hermione dance =). Finally, I think the last scene was PERFECT, there is no other word to describe it.

Amazing movie, I can't wait to watch it again. I bet the segundo part is going to be even better.

I loved it but, I did think it was going to have a few más of the important scenes and there was going to be más time spent on things.
For one, Dobby's death was great, but it was really fast-paced after that, like as soon as he died he was burying him, and they didn't carve the rock for him!
Secondly, I was kind of annoyed that they didn't add in the 'Voldemort's name is Tabbooed' scene. That's what definitely got me because, one of the trio was meant to say Voldemort, and THEN the snatchers would come and find them, not just them apparating to a forest and being caught. I mean, WHAT WAS THAT? I think that if they had added in that scene, it wouldn't have made the audience so confused, like some people I overheard when we were leaving the cinema were saying that they didn't understand how the Snatchers found them(the trio).
I really didn't like the fading in bit. I though that the fading in/out with the Three Brothers scene was really good, but when they were fading to from proper, filmed scenes...that was just in some ways annoying.
I thought the movie was great, but with the taboo scene would probably have only added about 10-20 mins to the movie, meaning it would go on for around 2 hours and 40-50 mins.
I'm definitely planning on seeing it again because it was pretty awesome. Plus, I wasn't really concentrating that much, because I couldn't stop coughing/sniffing because I'm ill.

(I've completely edited this, I've kept some of the points, but I was discussing it with a couple of people, and it really wasn't that bad. I've also learnt that in a book tu can have subplots, but in a movie tu can't, and that's why some of the things that I wanted to be included before weren't actually included!)

Oh yeah, I would have liked to see the part with Lupin and his baby. The exclusion of that scene will now make his death less dramatic. :| I was okay with them removing Dean and Ted, but I wish Harry DID have all those amazing revelations like in the book, and that he dicho

(dang, sorry, accidentally pressed enter XD) "Voldemort". The one thing I would disagree with tu on is the fading out. I think it was actually a nice touch. Kinda added to the dark mood of the movie.

The Lupin scene is at Grimmauld Place, and he wants to help the Trio find Horcruxes, even though that would mean he'd have to leave tonks with Teddy. Harry goes skits at him for that, and they have an argument.

I was kind of disappointed. All my friends who went to the midnight premiere dicho it followed the book to a 'T' and was the best yet. Some of my favorito! scenes were missing, including: The Lupin/Harry Confrontation, I loved that! It was SO important if tu think about it. The 'Potterwatch' scene, that seemed pretty important too..... I just feel like they left out some pretty important information, and my friend who hasn't read the book left it totally confused. I don't blame her. Plus, when they were camping it seemed to drag on forever, they could have added things in like the scene with Ted tonks and Dean and all of them, just to add something new..... I did like it, I just felt it was missing something.
