- the first time I read HP was when I was six, and I love that book more than anything, and it still amazes me how I read it again and I found out things I didn't remember or didn't notice before. Now the first time I read twilight I was 12 and I couldn't finish it, I simply couldn't. And because of the stupid story of Dracula's and Tinkerbell's children I didn't know amazing books like the hunger games, Percy Jackson or the Lorien legacies, because people only talked about twilight.

1. Hp has a plot
2. The 2nd twilight book is entirely about Bella in agony over Edward I mean really you can't find anything else to do? Oh wait you did. Suicide.
3. People in hp don't "sparkle"
4. I read a twilight form and they don't have good reasoning (actual quote) "omg twilight is awesome cuz there's like hot guys, how can you read a book without hot guys"
5. HP fans can come up with good reasoning (yay us)
6. I don't give a fuck what she had for breakfast!

8. Hp characters make sacrifices Bella hides behide Edward.
9. Baseball or quiditch?
10. J.k Rowling is creative she invented an entire world, school, government, form of money, social class, creatures, spells etc while myers creates squat.

Now, I've read both series at some pointvin my life. Harry Potter literally was my childhood. I spent five years waiting for my Hogwarts letter. I never even thought about vampires. ALL my friends call me "the next J. K. Rowling." She was the one author that inspired me to start writing. In all honesty, I started composing my first stories around the same time I read HP the first time: age 5. I have memorized the Harry Potter series. I can spit back at you just about anything you want to know. I can't do that with Twilight…because it bored me. I only read it to see what it's like. Go ahead. Ask me a question about something in the HP books/movies. I dare you.













Also, Potterheads WAY outnumber Twilight fans. How many are we? Forty million? And they are ehat? Less than half? I don't see Twilight translated into other languages. Harry Potter is a truly global series. It transcends race, culture, age, religion, everything. Anyone can be a Potterhead. You just have to be loyal, brave, and, perhaps most of all, you have to understand the power of loveand friendship.

Anyone want to start a proper twilight vs. hp debate. One with rules (like not cursing at each other and stuff) and strictly reasons, not opinions. And none of that edward is hot crap! And I want to have it where its like we debate the characters for a few days. And then the plot. Then the writing and so on... If we could all debate peacefully we could actually have a very good and fun debate! IDK its just an idea!
