Realised the points have little to do with plot, thus changed the título to errors.

My apologise to Twilight fans if I'm a little too harsh, but I have reread the libros like twice this mes and it was a little exasperating. Not to worry, I'm currently rereading Harry Potter, so a plothole lista on it will be added soon =)

Ok, let's get started:

1.A hundred years of...nothingness?
Explanation: I don't expect science fiction libros to be scientifically accurate. But if tu plan your main character to live 100 years studying in prep forever at the age of 17, make the whole book plausible. No, just saying "oh he is just so smart :swoon:" won't do it. At 17-18 tu are at the epitome of brain power, and after that your brain cells rapidly start dieing. True, most teenager waste those years, and some even accelerate the brain death por getting so wasted. But if tu are forever 17 like Edward, tu have the potential to become the smartest person in the world. Your capability of learning new things, your concentration and your memory are at optimum stage. parte superior, arriba that with a hundred years of studies and tu can beat a computer in chess blindfolded. And yet, our ohsosmart protagonist and most of his family, mostrar no proof of superior intellect. Vampire assasins are after Bella; let's hide her in a hotel and run in circles in hope that we will confuse them. I saw Bella jumping off a cliff, instead of finding out if she is alive por myself I'll send my sister. And conveniently, I will break my cell phone so that she won't be able to tell me what she found out. Jasper wants to eat you? No problem, here, I'll smash tu into a desk.

2.The Ice Age
Explanation: Lack of scientific knowledge is not an excuse in this case at all. Lack of common sense would be más like it. Forks is described as a very cloudy and rainy place where seldom sunny days occur. vampiros sparkle in sunlight, but hey, not to worry, just avoid the sunny days in forks and you'll be ok, right? Wrong! Clouds are not frigging parasols. In fact if tu have ever heard of Global Warming o Greenhouse effect, tu would know that in fact they work the opposite way. Sunlight can come in through clouds and they retain it, mantaining the temperature and blablabla we all know about that except Meyer. If the Cullens did not sparkle during cloudy days, it would be hard to tell, because it would also mean that tu wouldn't be able to see your hand in front of your face.

3.Vampire super-senses
Explanation: Ok, this is not entirely Meyer's fault. She probably came across a superman comic while escritura the libros and didn't pause to consider searching for flaws. Precisely the point I refer to is when Bella wakes up after being transformed into a vampire. In case tu don't remember it due to being traumatised por the anterior descripción of Bella giving birth, here is the exact fragment:
"The brilliant light overhead was still blinding-bright, and yet I could plainly see the glowing strands of the filaments inside the bulb. I could see each color of the arco iris in the white light, and, at the very edge of the spectrum, an eighth color I had no name for. Behind the light, I could distinguish the individual grains in the dark wood ceiling above. In front of it, I could see the dust motes in the air, the sides the light touched, and the dark sides, distinct and separate. They spun like little planets, moving around each other in a celestial dance."
Mmmm, this won't do at all. What is all that? Magnifying view(dust motes) + wider visible light spectrum(7 regular colours+mistery flavour 8th one*)+prismatic vision(able to tell the colours that make up light apart)? If Bella had really seen all that at that precise moment, we would have been treated to a very detailed head explosion scene(which paired with the birth scene would have made us puke our guts out). Well, head explosion is overexagerating, but excruciating painful headache would be accurate. The brain cannot proccess all that information at once, least tell them appart. It's like trying to hear a rata walking in the sewers under a busy avenue.
A similar problem comes with the shapeshifters. They can hear each other thoughts, with only the Alpha being able to shut them out. Imagine trying to read this articulo and make out what I'm saying while listening to your mother thinking about what will she make for dinner, your brother trying to do homework and your neighbour the philosopher pondering on the meaning of existence.

*Here I spared Meyer a little bit. Bella mentions seeing an eight colour at the end of the rainbow. The arco iris has 2 ends: red o violet. If we were to perceive a wider range of the electromagnetic spectrum, beyond the red we would see Infrared and beyond violeta Ultraviolet, which for all matters are still red and violet, not an 8th colour. She would have to be able to see past them, either Microwaves o X-rays.

4)Meyer missed her first aid class
Explanation: I actually hit my head with the book when I came across this. I should probably include it in my bad message articulo too, por the way. If any of the points here were to prove that Meyer wrote her libros out of what she saw in cine rather than por research this would be it.
Situation. James bits Bella injecting her with Vampire venom. Edward sucks the venom out of Bella's wound while demonstrating oh how perfect he is for having selfcontrol and loving her so much. If something, whether a snake, a bat o *sigh* Vampire were to bit you, tu don't suck the venom out of the wound. First of all, it's completely pointless. tu will only remove a small amount of venom in the immediate zone of the wound, while the rest of it flows through your veins and into your Nervous System. At best tu can buy 5 minutos with this. However, removing the venom from the immediate zone prevents doctors to identify the type of venom and administer a correct antidote (anyways this is vampire venom, so Bella was pretty much screwed).Second point, if the people sucking the venom has an injury on its teeth o mouth, then the venom will flow into his bloodstream, poisoning him too( unfourtunately, Edward has "Perfect" teeth, so there goes our chance of him becoming poisoned por James venom and perphaps becoming más manly).

5)Yeah, I'll mention the paper cut too
Explanation: Unlike most people, I will not flame the stupidity of cutting your finger with envolver, abrigo paper. No, I will simply remark how this scene throws all sense the book may have had into the dustbin, and then compacts that dustbin and throws it off a bridge. As everyone but Meyer knows, the fingers are on the extreme of our hands (hold your facepalm). Even más oblivious to Meyer, fingers don't have main veins o arterys*, thus when we cut we do not bleed to death. When Bella cuts her finger, she holds it before her face. Being an extremity, a lot of pressure is needed to bomba blood to it at such an akward angle. Thus not a single droplet should have oozed(not yet, hold it a little bit more). Anyways, in the libros there is no explicit information about how much blood Bella drops, and we are not going to take the cine as a fact. However what we know as a fact is that not much blood was spilled (until the mesa, tabla smashing). Do tu see how little sense this makes already? I'll be más clear. If I dash to save a ball while playing volley in school, my knees will be scratched. Say I accidentaly cut my hand with a scissor, even if i envolver, abrigo it on a band aid, the blood would still be exposed as a crust. When Bella scratches her hand during the trip to La Push, Edward can tell por the smell. Yes Edward and co. skip certain scheduled blood events, like the día they pinned their fingers for Biology. But they cannot know exactly when someone will miss their hamburger and end up cutting their fingers during lunchtime. And seeing as Jasper goes into a frenzy with the smallest drop of blood, one does wonder how he didn't have any of the people at school as an apetizer. Now tu can facepalm.
Edited: And I wonder how does Jasper react at school during that time of the month. Gross, but true.

6.Meyer also skipped AIDS class
Explanation: Thanks to XDRoseLuvsHP for this brilliant point. It is hard to explain this point without somewhat turning it into a sex class, but this is Meyer's idea of interesting literature and not mine. As we know vampiros do not have blood, thus it should be impossible for males to have erections. For once spotting a mistake, Meyer writes that vampire venom in a way (magic, it's bound to be magic) replaces most human body fluids to perpetuate bodily functions, for example lubricating the eyes(but not producing tears, cause Twilight vampiros are so strong and perfect and Valiente that they do not cry!) o semen.
At this point she should really have dicho magic, because this "venom-infused fluids" rise as many problems as it tried to solve. The first thing they teach tu during AIDS class is that AIDS transmits during sex due to infected semen coming into contact with micro-injuries (produced as a result of having sex) in both male and female. Probably wanting to subconciously get herself into más trouble, Meyer writes that during their first relations, Edward damaged Bella very badly. Edward's semen may not have AIDS, but it has vampire venom. Earlier on book series, it is mentioned that vampire venom kills woman eggs, so Bella couldn't become pregnant. And due to the contact of the infected semen with the micro-injuries, Bella should have become infected too.
When pointed this mistake at her webpage, Meyer replied this:
"It should be noted that these fluids can't transform humans into vampiros the way the actual venom can."
Noted? Noted where? Oh! Is there a subliminal message at the first letters of every paragraph that states this? Really, it would have been much wiser to accept the mistake that give such a poor excuse. Like in a written exam, what counts is what tu have written, not what tu thought o tu dicho later.

7.Feelings go inside the heart
Explanation: I just added this one for completetion purpose, cause everyone but Meyer probably spotted it during their first readthrough. One of Bella's (perfect) traits is her ability to produce a shield that prevents vampire powers from affecting her brain. Subconciously, she has this shield active over herself all the time. Thus, Edward is unable to read her mind, Aro cannot see her memories, Jane cannot make her feel pain and Kate cannot fry her with electricity. However, near the end of Twilight (around the point the plot pops out before rapidly being thrown back to the hole whence it came from) Bella is feeling stressed and deppresed because James is chasing her, Jasper uses his power to control people's emotions to calm her down so much that she fell asleep (at this point I was amazed that Meyer let a rape chance go by). To Meyer's disbelief, emotions originate in the BRAIN not in the HEART. And as Bella blocks brain intrusion, then Jasper powers shouldn't have affected her.

Logical reasons...
why Harry Potter v.s Twilight

*WARNING SPOILERS*

Hi! I'm Cinnominbubble and I have noticed the war between fandoms have been going on for a while with no clear outcome. There is a reason to this-We are stubborn. Twihards want to stick up for Stephanie Meyer, whilst Potterheads want to do the same for J. K. Rowling. But, I have noticed something. Many of our reasonings aren't exactly logical. I mean, not to be offensive, some of our strongest points are downright idiotic!(from both sides) I'd like to come up with some smarter points to help people see our side of the story, whatever...

Harry Potter beats Twilight. Of course. But I really don't like it when HP fans use opinion-ated "facts" when saying WHY Harry Potter is the better movie series. So, I, who am a major Potterhead, put together 7 true, solid, hard, and undeniable facts about certain aspects of the two movie series to prove why Harry Potter is the ultimate series.
**I will only be discussing the movies**

1) Soundtrack

Everyone knows Rowling and Meyer's stance on fanfiction and the fact both writers have dado a thumbs up of sorts. However, there is something I don't think either one of them would of approve of and it involves those Reading the Books a lot of people are supposedly writing. I say supposedly escritura because copying from another persons work is not escritura unless tu are quoting under fair use. And boy... every single lectura the libros I've come across is not in fair use and constitutes plagiarism. I know how to write one that doesn't constitute plagiarism, but I'll save that until the end.

As tu can tell from my username, I am a huge Harry Potter fan. However, I wasn’t always. I used to be a Twihard (a twilight obsessed fan-girl). In fact I was one during the early stages of puberty, which is the age where most Twitards fall into the ‘romantic’ trap.

Here’s my story about how I went from ‘Twihard’ to ‘Indifferent’ to ‘Potterhead’:

I first read Twilight as a recommendation from a fellow member of the Teen Advisory Board of my library. I finished that book quickly and moved onto the next. The biblioteca didn’t have Eclipse so I read it ‘Twilight, New Moon, Breaking...

Believe it o not, I do not hate Twilight. The plot is fair, internesting setting, a lot of the characters are good, and not to mention the brilliant fight scenes! The soundtracks are lovely as well as the actors/actresses. Overall, I would give the entire series a C+. I would give it a higher grade if it wasn't for the poor writing, rambling, and somewhat extreme fans. But what's really the anchor of that sinking ship is the books' protagonist and narrator...

Bella Swan.

Of course there's a main character in almost every book I read that I really do not like. For example: in Hunger Games, it's...

I don't want to hear about Harry Potter o any other book right now. I'm not setting this up for a debate about which is better. I just want to know seriously and honestly why tu Twilight fans enjoy lectura Twilight. I want to see an actual reason that Twilight is a good book.
If tu don't like Twilight, I don't want to hear tu saying anything bad about it. I just want to know why people like it. Because all the debate's I've seen have no actual reasons. They have HP fans and Twihards going on about which book is better, but not why they like it.
I do actually want respectful debate though. I want to discuss the reasons tu give, but nicely.
If tu can't be respectful of each other's opinions then just don't comment.
And I'm not trying to hate on Twilight, but if I disagree with tu I will debate with you.
I don't know if there are other debate's about this, so I'm sorry if there are, but I didn't look.
I'm just rambling now so let's get onto it!

I thought of a very wonderful quote. I'm not sure where it came from. I might have read it somewhere before. Maybe it is many frases brought together. Maybe it is entirely of my own creation. I don't know. Anyways, I find it to be very beautiful and thought-provoking...

"Twilight is a children's book poorly disguised as great literature. Harry Potter is great literature poorly disguised as a children's book."

I doubt I wrote it. I'm not capable of coming up with something so witty and beautiful as that.

Allow me to explain what it means. It means that Twilight makes people think it is great literature...

Because My Taste In libros Is Just That Awesome

It's easy to point out the negatives in the things we don't like. Likewise, it's also easy to point out the positives in those things which we love. Difficult, it is, to accept the positives in that which we hate, and the negatives in that which we enjoy. Today, I would like to point out to tu solely the positives. And it's a good thing I like both things that I intend to praise because otherwise I might find this a difficult endevour to pursue.

In short, I'm gonna tell tu what's good about both HP and Twi. These might seem a bit repetitive to...

I'm extending an apology to youknowit101 for my numerous mild to severe transgressions of civility against him. I am also apologising for losing my temper yesterday and to be honest, I don't think the evening of December 12th 2010 on the Harry Potter vs. Twilight spot was very enjoyable.

Now, I am going to analyse this bloody debacle from start to current, and give tu my opinions afterwards.

A lot of debates is going on about who would win, if Harry and Edward got in a fight o duel.
This is understandable since it summerize the whole wizards vs. vampiros thing.
I will try to be objective and analize their chances fair.

1.Physical abilitys
Harry is, besides his magic, a human. He trains Quidditch and he is not exactly out of form, but he just doesn`t have what it takes to break trees in half and stop rushing cars. He can die because of wounds.
Edward on the other hand, is incredebly strong and fast (and cold and never eats and we all know what he is - a vampire). He CAN break trees...

Is it just me, o does it seem like most of the Twilight fans feel that they have to write in capitol letters to get their points across? Personally i find it really annoying.

It's also a fact that if tu write in capitol letters IT TAKES LONGER FOR THE BRAIN TO PROCESS THE INFORMATION and therefore takes longer to read. Originally all the road signs (In England anyway) were written in capitol letters, until they were redone and someone found that smaller case letters were quicker to read. So they changed it.

So siguiente time tu feel like shouting because your book sucks, don't write in capitols, but put...
*shouting*... at the begining of your speech.

Thank you. That is all.

I finished lectura Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows a couple of days back. In my view, the book is much más tightly written than the last two books. And that itself is a relief. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley are much better etched out in Deathly Hallows, and there are quite a bit of surprises, disappointments, revelations.

But when someone asked me today what I thought about it, I replied,...
