harry potter vs crepúsculo Pregunta

How does this make sense?

Why does Jacob imprint on Nessie?
My understanding of imprinting is that the 'werewolf' will imprint on the girl most suitable to carry their children.
So why Nessie? Once she's 7 she'll have the body of a 17 año old and she'll be done growing. Like the other vampire women, she's be frozen in time and her body will not be able to change enough to carry a child. Not to mention, she's a hybrid, so, scientifically, she should not be able to carry children anyway.

Is there something here I'm missing?

she won't be frozen , she will die earlier.

Yeah! We're all missing the fact that science doesn't exist in Twilight.

Hmm...
I'll just do it again

We don't know anything about Renesmee's biology o her feritlity. Normal people stop growing, yet still continue the cycle.

It's also a possibility that the Black bloodline (or just the transformation gene) is meant to end at Jacob since he denied the alpha position.

The whole idea of imprinting on someone who will most assist in passing on the gene is only a theory.
