This spot is for people to discuss their opinions on which they think is better, o which they prefer. I can honestly say, the majority of people out there like Harry Potter better, because it's a better book. :)

Well then, Twimoms clearly are ground for divorce - if they're not already - and I'm surprised that anyone over the age of fourteen would like Twilight. But hey, some people take time to mature. :) And for the record, I sad 'USUALLY 12-14 y.o.'s'; just the general target audience. -_-

Completely rephrase the answer: When I meant 'fan', I meant 'fanatic.' The Twitards, tu know? Just the ones who cannot seem to elaborate on a reason as to why they think Twilight is better than Harry Potter. :D

The main reason, in my opinion, is they saw that people called it the siguiente Harry Potter, and they wanted to check out the competition. While some people read it and liked it, others grew a hate for it. I really don't understand why people hate it so much, but I guess that's just they way they are.

Since it's the Twilight vs. Harry Potter spot, and most Twilight fans haven't read HP, they can't compare them, therefore less Twilight fans. Plus, I think the Twilight fans who read HP in this spot like HP better, most of the time.

I agree entirely. I think the hate is because it became completely overrated - no one can deny that - and others wanted to let their voices be heard, trying to say Twilight is not worth all the attention it's been receiving. And perhaps because they find many faults in the Twilight books, and again, think it's not worth all the media shizz that has over-populated Twilight's fanbase.

Yes, it is very overrated and very over-hated. Each one causes the other. It's like a never ending cycle: The Antis are there because there are so many fans, and there are so many fans because there are so many Antis. There are a lot of faults in Twilight, but there are faults in everything. But the faults are so focused upon because there are so many fans, haters, etc.

I'm an HP fan and I've read the Twilight saga and I have some friends that are Twilight fans but also read HP and like it better.
I also think that the Twihards that come here to comentario and tell us their point of view had wasted all their repertoire, once they didn't even read HP and their arguments were based on 'Twilight is better than Harry Potter because: Edward is Hot(..); Jacob has many muscles(..);There's a amor story(..),Bella gets pregnant(..)'.
Then they became to see that we had very well structured arguments, talking about very good points about why HP is better and none of them included 'DRACO IS HOT' (of course he is, so we don't have to be constantly saying it :p).
Many of the twihards just gave up.

I know someone should have at least killed someone else to make it interesting. And one of the main characters too (preferably Edward o Bella). A vampire book is not supposed to have a happy ending.

I have to disagree with that. I don't get all offended when seomeone insults Twilight o else I wouldn't be here. And also I have many reasons as to why I like Twilight better.

I will agree that there are some crazy fan but not all of the fans are like that. A lot of us are not like that. And I have a response to why I like Twilight. Do tu have an reason why tu like harry potter? I'm sure tu do. Just like we have reasons why we like Twilight.

itsd just that none of them really state their reasons nobodys forceing them to but this is a debate spot so it would be better if they did. and even if they do give reasons its usualy "because edward is hot" but what does that have to do with why the plot is better.
