pregunta about the Economy of Greece & you're opinions .

Hi! Well, i am Greek and i live here since forever. Things have changed in Greece the last 4 years. Honestly ...it's very difficult to be Greek nowadays! Mostly because people treat us differently and they are prejudiced.

I 've got many friends who travel around the world and talk to people from other countries and most of them think Greece is like Somalia o something...it's so sad. There are people who think we are dying in the streets. It's rediculous. Worse than that, Europeans think Greeks are lazy and don't like working which is sooo wronge since Greeks are the most hard working people in europa (and the least productive). There are many researces to prove that.

I am pretty sure their goverments and journalist and newspappers are trying to give them wrong information about Greece, propably it's better for them if Europeans dislike us. Personaly in think this "war" (because it's kinda like a war...maybe there are no nuclear bombs and pistolas but it's still war...actually it's worse than that. They call themselves "Saviors" because they lend us money but in reality they are making us misrable and want us to feel gratful for that) Yeap....it's war and it's unfair. We are an experiment for them. Each día they take life and death decisions for my future, my family,my country and my people. They are humiliating us, disgracing out history and we are unable to do something to change that. Greece is not the only country in europa that hasn't got money. Ireland is in the same situation but nobody says something bad for them. They don't pay más taxes than Greeks but the other countries don't seem to have problem with that. They only "care" about Greece.

To be honest i am sick of this crisis. Even though Greeks are trying not to lose their smile things are not good and as far as they can say this won't change soon. Many people are trying to survive and things are getting worst each day. Especially with the new taxes our goverment announces every day. We now have 1,000,000 taxes i believe.
It sounds crazy but deep inside i think we are stil optimistic. We were born optimistic.
I don't like to be treated like a sh** because the politicians in my country are corrupted. We are pride people and i hate it when we have to take money from others, but tu can not blame Greeks for every bad thing! I mean, when the Greeks politicians brought illegally money from Germany, i am pretty sure they had to cooperate with some Germans, right?
