i don't like any of the new character's and i don't think we need any of them (exept for coach Beiste) and i'm with Surpr1zzm33, other than getting with Quinn (and what was wrong with Puck doing that?), i don't get the point of his character, he serves no purpose, people just think he's cute for some reason, it's starting to turn into all style, no substance with all these famous guest stars and adding cast purely because they think there cute.

He's cute <3 and really hot and he seems like a good guy :)

@mangie1995: you wrote just exactly what I was thinking (I would keep with coach Beiste too, and I would let Charice in Vocal Adrenaline) and there's still in project the character of Gwyneth Paltrow (why her???) and the plot of Vocal Adrenaline's coach Dustin Goolsby... U_U

All I have to say to this is, hell to the yeah Sammy boy! Dude, his character alone actually made me like two characters which I hated passionately. He even made me be okay with Finchel which I I use to hate with the fire of 10,000 suns. I think his friendship with Finn is so hilarious and cute, they seem to fit better as bestfriends then Finn and Puck did (who seem more like rival then actual bestfriends) and his relationship with Quinn (though only just happened) seems more tender and intimate then whatever the hell it was she had going with Puck.

I've even come to terms that RM may never give me a real Puckelberry relationship. and I'm okay with that now that Sam is around. because as long as RM gives me Fabrevans I don't feel the need to want to jump off the Empire State Building. The addition of Sam and his pairing with Quinn makes me one happy Gleeker :-)I have a reason to actually want to watch this show now. Because after last season final I was totally set on never tuning in ever again. So I say smart move on RM part with how he's writing Sam in.

I really like Finn and I've seen Sam to many times for me anyway!! I do like new characters to a show but there's just something about Sam I don't like!!
