Earlier this season on the episode “Girl Meets the Tell Tale Tot,” Riley lies to her parents and sneaks off with Maya to a party (we’ve all been there, right?!)

And, that’s where the girls meet the uber-spunky sorority girl, Harriet (we all know this girl, right?!)

If not, tu soon will because I recently had a chance to interview actress SIGI GRADWOHL about her hilarious role.

Can tu give us a quick descripción of your role in disney Channel’s GIRL MEETS WORLD?

SG: Harriet is a wacky Gamma Gamma Nu sorority girl at NYU who tries to take Riley under her wing. She's primarily there for comedic relief while Riley and Maya learn valuable lessons.

Share with us how tu landed the role.

SG: I had auditioned for a couple of other roles on GMW, including one of the other college girls in this episode. I received solid feedback that the "right part" would come. A few days after that audition, I learned that the Creator and Writers of the mostrar had created a role with me in mind, and was asked if I was available to shoot immediately. The role of Harriet evolved and became más essential to the storyline during filming.

How was it to work on this kid-centric show?

SG: I think it keeps everybody young! There was never a dull moment on set. The whole team was engaged, energetic, and treated each other like family. Production, stand-ins, crew, tu name it. The live audience mostrar was incredible; as a fan of Boy Meets World, it was especially thrilling to be a part of the experience.

We noticed that Ben Savage directed the episode; how was that?

SG: There was a constant buzz of excitement, as it was only his segundo time directing the show. Obviously, Cory Matthews is a major character; it was really interesting to see Ben remove himself from the role and direct from the outside, while seamlessly stepping in to play Cory. He was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and thorough with his direction. I would amor to work with him again.

What would tu consider your characters ‘best’ quality? And their ‘worst’?

SG: Harriet is spunky and energetic. She could maybe catch on a little faster...

Any fun stories from the set tu can share with us?

SG: As soon as I arrived on set I realized that I already knew two of the PAs (production assistants) and had many mutual friends with the writer's assistant. It was a fun "small world" experience. I also instantly bonded with my fellow guest cast...it felt like real-life college for a week!

And, now just for fun:

What’s your favorito! food?

SG: My mom's chicken soup. And avocados! I could eat three a day. I won't, but I could. Dare me.

Cats o dogs?
SG: I grew up with cats, so I'll have to go with that!

Favorite movie from your childhood?
SG: Childhood favoritos include The Sound of música and The Parent Trap (the original).

Tell us one thing that would surprise our readers to learn about you.
SG: When I was younger, I wrote tons of poesía and kept a little journal with me everywhere I went. I hoped to be a famous writer. Then it was gymnast... and eventually, these various roles fed into my amor for acting. I still keep journals with me, only now I use them for actuación and character notes. o grocery lists. (Not that I could forget avocados).
